This a picturesque two bedroom Grade B historic building in the heart of East Linton. It was the original bakehouse for the village (the original oven can be found in The Georgian House in Edinburgh).

Richard and I have been married for six years and have three children. We love East Lothian and have lived here for over seventeen years. We met whilst working in the fitness industry and now run a local fitness and well being business. We believe in the great outdoors and the truly special quality of life we can lead in this beautiful area. Our favourite beach (and there are many to choose from) is Tyninghame - the closest beach to East Linton. We adore quality, locally sourced foods and enjoy finding new suppliers and will happily recommend our favourite places to get the best coffee, seafood, markets and of course cafes and restaurants - locally and in Edinburgh.
We have spent the last six years slowly restoring and gradually upgrading the original bakehouse - it is a quaint historic house which has lots of character. It is quirky but has a special relaxed feeling to it and is a truly brilliant place to recharge your batteries. On a sunny day the conservatory has fabulous bright light and you can then relax in the back garden in the afternoon and early evening. In the winter - light the fire, relax on the sofa, read a good book, listen to music or play board games.
The surrounding area of East Lothian is a wonderful place to visit - whether you wish to play sport (golf is particularly good here), visit historic buildings, walk in the beautiful countryside with breath taking beaches or eat delicious food - this is the place for you.
