This 3 bedroom home is set within the Berwick town walls and comfortably sleeps 5. There is a private roof terrace which is a sun trap and offers views over the rooftops of Berwick to the Guild Hall clock. This property is within easy walking distance from the train station and Berwick town centre, yet boast miles of coastline and beautiful country side on the doorstep.

The Blue House was built on the 18th Century which give the property its quirky charm. The sociable living space is perfect for enjoy time with family or friends as the living room, dining area and kitchen all interconnect. The bedrooms are simple yet comfortable. This is the prefect home for families, couples or groups of friends to enjoy some time away in one of Northumberland's most beautiful towns.

Guests have access to the whole property which sits at the top end of Ravensdowne an historic residential street.

Guests will be met on arrival by the owners Tim & Fiona, who love to share tip and local knowledge about the area. Tim & Fiona live locally so are on hand to help should you have any issues during your stay.

Parking in Berwick is free, but you need to display a parking disk in your car window which can be provided and details of how it works can be explained, or Tim & Fiona can provide one residents permit, you just need to ask.

Please also note that there is some building work taking place opposite the Blue House during working hours Monday to Friday and this is likely to mean there will be some building noise and additional traffic during this time, however we are hopeful this won’t impact your stay.

Celia was very helpful and prompt when booking the house and just before we travelled up to tell us the details for when we get there. The owners were very friendly and the house is as stated in the app. Location is ideal with only a 2 min walk to all places in Berwick. There is a small leak in the conservatory which dampens the floor but the owners are aware and this did not impact our stay as we spent most of the time in the lovely living room.

Great family base if you plan to visit Northumberland. Upon the arrival you will be warmly welcomed by the owner and will see lovely decorated rooms with full of cleanness. Adults can enjoy coffee time either at the sunroom or balcony in the second floor and kids can watch Netflix. 5 minutes walk to see historical walls around the town, restaurants/bars, and even beach! We stayed 2 nights but would recommend to plan longer stay!

Blue House is wonderful -- comfortable, spacious, well located and quiet. The owner, Tim, was gracious, helpful and extremely knowledgeable about all things Berwick. We had a lovely stay and would return anytime. We'll be telling our friends and family about this place!

The Blue house in Berwick is very central so you can walk anywhere in the town in less than 15 minutes. There is lots of space and delightful sitting areas both indoors and outdoors. When you look on (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) it seems as if parking would be a problem. In fact we were lent a permit which allowed us to park very close and there is a large car park at the end of the street if you have more than one car.

I have been welcoming guests to properties for over 4 years now and I love it. I have received so many lovely comments over the years and, let's hope I don't jinx things by saying this, I have only ever had great guests!

I now have a number of properties that I manage on behalf of owners, and have started a small management company called 'Beautiful Holiday Homes' so if the first property you enquire about isn't available for some reason then I will always try and help by suggesting another lovely property if there is one available.

I work in both marketing and property, have done for over 12 years. I have also done a fair amount of restaurant reviewing over the last few years so happy to make recommendations :)

I am actually based between Edinburgh and Northumberland, love my city time but also my beach time. I am probably biased but I think I am very lucky to have both on my doorstep as Edinburgh is such a wonderful city, as for beaches it doesn't get much better than the Northumberland coast (if only we had the weather....).
