Thanks for your comment but it needs some clarification as you seem to describe a bad experience but your overall rating is 4 stars !
- Location : Airbnb mapping system does not place us right. That is why we sent to all our guest a precise plan to join the villa. Looking at all the phone calls you gave me when you arrived you might have not taken it into consideration. Also regarding the check in time, you arrived at 8 am when the check in time was fixed at 3 pm. You were upset not to be able to enter the villa when arriving but you knew since the booking that the check in time was at 3 pm. To arrange you I managed the cleaning to be done quickly (and you were OK with that) so I do not understand your rating regarding the cleaning that had beed done just before you arrived !
- Pool : there is a private company cleaning the pool. They use chlorine like in every pool on earth ! And the filtering system has been completely changed less than a year ago and the guys are coming several times a week to clean it. This is managed by the complex management, not by me.
- Wifi / TV Connection : wifi is fiber powered which is unusual is Mauritius and high speed connection. The speed depends on how much you download : more you download, less speed it is. Also you download a lot with Netflix to watch movies. That is why the wifi became slow. If you have used it properly there should have been no problem. You are the first guest to download that much and to complain about it !
Electricity : I was with the cleaning lady just before you arrived and the electricity and gas stove were working perfectly. May be you experienced a general electricity shut down in the whole town but I can not do anything about it. Also regarding the stove igniting : the gas button was open that is why it was igniting.
Toilets : all the flush were working fine when you arrived. You broke one the first day, I have it repaired for you. Then on saturday you broke a second one. As you should imagine the plumber does not work on saturday and sunday. So I called him on monday and he came and it is now fixed.
Regarding your comments you might not use Airbnb when you visit other countries and go to a 5 star hotel instead : the house is clean and perfectly maintained, the wifi speed is better than in a 5 star hotel, when you check in at 8 am in a hotel you do not have your room ready unless you pay one extra night for it...
To conclude : my aim is that my guests have a good time in Mauritius, I use Airbnb from the beginning that why I think you should not belong to the airbnb community.
You should have forgotten that our price is 4 times less than a hotel, then the value/price/location in our villa are a very good deal !
I just hope you had a nice time visiting and enjoying Mauritius !
