A large, light and comfortable room. The location is right next door to the train/bus station, and in walking distance to the city center. In the area, there are a number of nice restaurants.
The room you will be living in is large and comfortable. There is a sofa for relaxation and a desk for concentrated work and a TV with a connected Chromecast for entertainment (No regular TV channels though!). You'll have access to closets and drawers if you would like to unpack a bit. In the room, there is also a microwave oven and an electric kettle for some simple food preparation.
The apartment is on the second floor (two stairs up by Swedish standards). When entering the house, there are a few steps to climb at first, but after that you can take an elevator up to the apartment.
Zugang für Gäste
You'll have a private toilet, and you'll share shower with us. Please note that our bathrooms are rather small, and getting into the shower is a little bit tight.
Interaktion mit Gästen
We are happy to get to know our guests, but we will also give you the privacy that you want.
We can give you advice on what to do in Linköping and the surrounding area and which restaurants to try, how to get around, and any other question you may have. We have a nice collection of board games, and Pia will be happy to play with you. We also have a variety of books in Swedish, Norwegian, English and Spanish, and you may borrow any of them to read while you're here. On the weekdays, we usually work away from home, but it is possible to reach us by phone, and we are also somewhat flexible with working hours and can potentially adapt to what suits you.
Weitere wichtige Infos
We have two cats in the apartment, but we keep them out of the guest room. You'll probably see them in the hallway though. Since they are very curious, they will enter the room if they can, so we would prefer it if you don't leave the door open.
My name is Pia, and I'm both hosting and travelling through Airbnb, together with my boyfriend Anders. I come from Northern Norway, but I've lived in Linköping since 2009. Time flies! I moved to Linköping to study animal behavior, and eventually I started working on a PhD in Biology, and that's what I'm still doing.
I love travelling and learning about new places and languages. My most adventurous trips were to Cuba in January 2017 and living in Mexico for 5 months in 2010. I've also spent the last two summer vacations on roadtrips in parts of Sweden and Norway, and I'll be happy to give you advice on what you should see when visiting.
As a host, I'd like to give my guests a comfortable stay, and hopefully you will feel at home in my place. I'm still learning about hosting, and I'm very happy to hear any advice or requests from my guests.
In my free time, I'm a dance teacher in salsa and west coast swing, and I'm fairly involved in the dance community. If you want to go dancing when visiting Linköping, ask me where to go!
Looking forward to getting to know you!
