We are not a guesthouse but would love to have you enjoy our home while we are out. We like to create the kind of place we would love to stay. Nothing fancy, just simple, easy, welcoming and maybe even little quirky! So if you are up for a more simple style of stay in a great neighbourhood come stay in our house.

Our house is “Thai comfortable”, it may not be the same as some of the comforts in your home country but it will be a clean, caring and friendly place you can call home! :)

Hausregeln

- Quit Hours: Be mindful about the noise, No loud music etc. early in the am before 6 AM or late at night 11Pm. Noise can travel easily. We are in a Thai neighbourhood with people getting up to work everyday. So respect in this area is greatly appricated by everyone.
- Eating Areas: No eating in the bedrooms Please. Ants and little critters have a way of finding food anywhere so it is a must to keep food on the first level and put in to the garbage bins when finished.
- No Partys Please
- Please keep only keep the air con when you are in the room. Turn lights out when you leave. The enviroment and we Thank you! :)

It's a great place to spend your days in Chiang Mai. Patti and Jee are both very helpful and responsive. The place is very close to the old town and near good street food stalls.

Great location, close to old city and there is some nice shops and food a few minutes walk away. Street very peaceful and quiet, couldn't hear anything but the birds! Patti is an amazing host and her husband was extremely helpful with getting us familiar with the house. They even had some bikes we could use which came in handy to check out the local area!

To be short,it's a large and plain house at a good position with friendly hosts : ) Here are the details—— 1 The house is in a undisturbed district and not so easy to find at the first time. But it's at a good position among old city and Doi Suthep Mountain and airport. Patti gave us an address in Thai and the nearest landmark, which are much easier for drivers to recognize.(BTW,taking a red truck is fairly convenient.) 2 There are three large bedrooms, each of which can accommodate 2 (URL HIDDEN) be honest,we three girls felt the house a little large for us.If you are a flock of people, you should go there really! 3As for furnishings, beds, kitchen, air condition are good, but shower spray is weak. 4 The host is easy-going and responsible to questions. We took a nighr bus to Chiengmai and Jee waited there in the early morning to help us check in. Finally, Patti's description is very (URL HIDDEN) suggested to read it carefully if you want to know exactly what kind of house you will enjoy. And I think "Thai comfortable" is the most suitable adjective.

We spent a really lovely stay at Patti's house in Chiang Mai. Even though she wasn't in the country at the time she was very responsive to messages and we very much felt she was there if we needed her. Jee met us at the house even though we arrived very early off the night train from Bangkok and he was very friendly and helpful, showing us around the house and giving us lots of advice. A very nice touch was that they provided lots of bottles of drinking water for us! They have some bikes you can hire but there is also a hostel called 'bed and bikes' on the next street with lots of bikes available to hire if you want different ones or are a bigger group as there are only 2 at the house. The house is very homeley and comfortable - we especially enjoyed the hammock in the living room and lounging on the floor mats!

My top 5 things I like!
Travel:
I love to travel, the more places I visit the more places get on my wish list!
My husband is Thai so we spend part of our time in Thailand and part in Canada. We try to visit somewhere else every year!

Laughing:
I love going to feel good comedies and crazy stupid comedies! I recently started going to laughter yoga, not sure why I didn't get on this sooner!

Music:
I have always like a variety of music since I can remember but living in Calgary, AB I found a listeners supported radio station that played all kinds music from all over the world, all sorts of genres and some wicked fusion mixes. Finding this radio station( before the days of the internet) was such a huge gift!!

Dancing:
I think everyone loves to Dance!! I have tried Highland dancing, East Indian Hip- hop, West Coast Swing, Salsa, Biodanza and Conscious Dance! I love it all and if I was rich I would dance and take lessons all day long!

Connection:
Connection with yourself, with others and with your surroundings.
From the big heart connections with family and friends to the simple moments where you share a smile or hold the door open for a stranger. Those moments when you look around and say " Look at where I am!!!!".

My style of travel:
I like to think I am a pretty easy going traveler ( who doesn't ha ha ha) I tend to lean toward smaller bamboo huts, cute little spaces with charm rather then big and extravagant place. I do like arrive at airports in enough time I hate that late feeling thinking I might miss my plane! I like to take my time and see less places then rush and see more!

I like the quote:
" In a World where you can be Anything
Be Kind"
