Unsure if the other reviewers stayed at the same place, or are just blind.
You enter through a building site, cement mixer to your right, half built building to your left. Up a set of fairly nice wooden stairs and through a UPVC door into a really small landing area.
There you're greeted with four numbered doors, much like a brothel.
We opted to stay in door 4, but were given door 2 upon arrival. We only realised this much later that evening upon returning.
We opted to stay here as it looked clean and basic. But the finish to the room was rather shoddy. Wonky, surface mounted sockets, paint dripping down the skirtings, dirty plug sockets, shower cubical only fixed to the wall on one side, under basin cupboard wonky, toilet cistern miles away from the wall, wires trailing across the wall for the TV, and a huge great free standing fridge at the bottom of the bed.
Upon booking the room we were offered breakfast for an extra four euro each, we replied and said yes that would be great. Thinking it would be some fresh croissants, tea, orange juice etc, we were told breakfast would be left outside our door that morning.
We awoke to find a small bag with several spreads in it, two tea bags, two cartons of orange juice and a box containing six slices of brioche. The top of the blue plastic box was rather grubby. It wasn't at all appetising, and clearly showed little to no effort in preparation. Costing eight euros for the both of us we felt a little mugged.
Taking the spreads and juice we ended up buying 4 croissants in a boulangerie for the total of 4 euros.
The hosts do not live on site, it's clear they have purchased the upper rooms of a building to make a quick buck with B&B guests. The room was fairly clean, but badly finished all round. It was clear to see everything had been done on the cheap with no care as to the fit and finish.
We would not return, or recommend it.
