Inbhir is a beautiful, traditional stone cottage in the historic village of Redcastle on the north shore of the Beauly Firth. Redcastle is just 20 minutes by car from Inverness, but is a world away from the bustle of the city. Listen to the lap of the waves, the cry of the curlews and the wind in the trees as you relax in this tranquil wee corner of heaven. There is lots of outside space to enjoy in the village, with gorgeous gardens, benches and picnic space on the doorstep. The house itself is spacious, sunny and welcoming.

Redcastle is a great place for cyclists. We love bikes ourselves and have excellent secure cycle storage and space to dry wet kit.
Please take shoes off when going upstairs. No problem about smoking in the garden, there are some peaceful benches and a sheltered area by the back door, but no smoking indoors please. If you are going to want to cook any evening, please let me know in advance.
I hail from the Highlands and love the hills, the sea and the outdoors. I've explored Europe and the Americas and taught English abroad for several years. Meeting and getting to know new people and discovering the cultures and customs of different countries is a passion for me. I also love food and sampling the cuisine of different parts of the world. I'm keen on meditation and yoga, wildlife, woods and music.
