Retired on March 31 from 45 years of hospital nursing management. Love to write music, play piano, keyboard and bass. Sing in my congregations' praise team. Love to spend time with my daughter and granddaughters. Born and raised in Massachusetts, lived 30 years in Alabama prior to moving here in 2000. Husband, Ted, is a school bus driver. He has written over 300 poems which we have set to original music. He has also written and published three novels called "The Dime in the Dirt" series. Our favorite travel destination together is Gulf Shores, Alabama, where we have spent many hundreds of hours on the beaches and scuba diving out in the gulf. Ted's book series is set in that area. So here is the premise of this fictional series of novels: several million dollars in drug cartel money starts washing up on the beaches of Gulf Shores. Where it came from, how it got there, who comes looking for it and how it affects the lives of those who find it is what the books explore.
