Your luxurious suite with private entry and beautiful views – across the garden, golf course, and valley!
We are two retired grandparents who have each raised four children and have between us seven grandchildren, most of whom live in the area. We offer a comfortable and bright walk-out suite within a quiet, gated community and lovely views of our gardens, the adjacent semi-private golf course, and the valley and mountain beyond.
We hope you will enjoy our space with its heated marble bathroom floor, large desk with Wi-Fi, king-sized platform bed, television with complimentary Netflix and Apple TV, and coffee and tea. We live upstairs, but when we are away one of our grown children maintains the property as a house sitter.
Our home is located 20 minutes from the world-renowned Biltmore Estate, an American castle with walks, dining and tours. Five miles away is the Asheville airport and Sierra Nevada's new and fascinating walk-through brewery and restaurant. A few miles further is the North Carolina Arboretum plus the nearest entrance to the Blue Ridge Parkway and its winding drives with spectacular views. Nearby attractions include blueberry picking at Graveyard Fields, Looking Glass Falls, Pisgah Mountain and its commanding lookout, plus hundreds of hiking and biking trails, and even stretches of the thousand-mile Mountain to Sea Trail. You can drift on a tube or kayak down the French Broad River, or if white water is your style, head for either the Green River or Nantahala National Forest, another short mountain drive away. And of course, if you're a golfer, call the country club and schedule a tee time!
This is a growing area popular with young adults who treasure its varied music and arts scene, as well as mountain crafts and micro beers. Downtown Asheville is home to many fine restaurants featuring locally grown food. The Western North Carolina Mountains have much to offer in any season. Come and enjoy!

The patios outside the two guest suite entrances are for your use, as well as the shaded hammock, the lower patio across the yard, and the smooth and quiet-running exercise bike inside. Play golf, walk the 2 mile loop, or just enjoy the gardens and watch for the family of Bluebirds that inhabit the birdhouse in June and July.
