Yup, one day carpenter; next Han Solo. Wake to birdcalls, fountains, breezes; quaff your cappuccino in a garden nook under the soaring trees of storied Benedict Canyon. The luxe, art-filled space is quiet, arcadian, naturally cool, yet just 7 minutes to Rodeo. UCLA's 15 minutes.
Sleep soundly in a firm but cuddly queen bed with private bath & entrance. Ideal for solo traveller or tranquil couples, but if you need space for a third, there's another comfy bed in my studio, for an extra charge.
There's free street parking. Both entrances entail a short flight of steps. I prefer just 1 or 2 guests at a time, but if you need space for a third or fourth family member, the convertible queen bed in my studio may be rented for an additional $70 (which also covers cleaning cost).
There's a concert-quality Steinway B available for experienced guests.
The house has excellent wifi and a microcell. Canyons can be difficult, but so far all my guests have had good reception. (But if you do encounter problems, you're welcome to use my line for calling.)

I'm only too glad to help with anything you may need, however I'm not able to give much of my time beyond this. I'm generally at home plugging away at my work.

Please treat the space as you would have others treat your own home, and be considerate of neighbors' parking zones. No guests at the house, unless they're surprise royalty. I appreciate a call or note to let me know your anticipated arrival time.
- No food in bedroom, or living room.
- PLEASE CONSERVE WATER - we're in a serious drought. No long showers.
I'm a designer/illustrator, classical pianist, and a master gardener, nuts about music, architecture & design. Easy-going and considerate, and appreciate the same. I just moved back to my beloved natal state after 30 years in the east. I've traveled extensively, and stayed at the finest hotels - so making your stay distinctively pleasant is important to me. It's been a lot of hard work to make my place serene, cosseting and beautiful, and I'd love to share it with you. I speak French like a Spanish cow, Spanish like a French cow, and Japanese like an eggplant.
