Our stunning and enormous Brownstone offers 5-star comfort with a taste of the classic Brooklyn experience, in the up-&-coming neighborhood of Bedford-Stuyvesant. By subway, on foot or by Citibike, Brooklyn/NYC is your oyster!
Welcome to the gorgeous 1600 square foot (150 sq-meter) upper duplex (we live downstairs) in our two-family Edwardian brownstone in beautiful Bedford-Stuyvesant.
On the parlor floor, you'll find a huge combined living/dining space with ample extra comfy seating for the whole family, a gorgeous dining table, a half bathroom, and a piano! Sun streams through the south-facing windows and door into our enormous and fully equipped kitchen, complete with island and breakfast bar. The kitchen/dining area leads to a large deck (240 sq ft) which is for your private use and has views of the garden. The original exposed-brick wall, elegant wood floors and nearly twelve-foot ceilings contribute to the luxurious combination of modern comfort and classic charm.
Follow the light pouring from the skylight up the grand staircase to the top floor, where you'll find three large bedrooms, each with ample closet space. There are also 2 full bathrooms with showers and soaking tubs. The bedroom at the rear even has a balcony, with a charming view over the block's backyards. The piece de resistance is probably the washer and extra-speedy gas dryer. These are a real luxury in New York City!

Please read the manual carefully - there's some important information for your stay
We're both touring musicians who understand the need for the comforts of home while traveling. We love great food and wine, either cooked in our amazing kitchen, or ordered at one of the gazillion fantastic restaurants in Brooklyn's great neighborhoods.
Our work takes us all over the city as well as the world, so having 3 subway lines (one of which goes straight to JFK) within easy reach is a privilege we've come to depend on. One of us is English, and the other Australian, but after a combined 25 years in New York, I guess we can qualify as locals by now. We love living in Brooklyn because, although we can get to Manhattan in as little as 20 minutes on the train (or walk there from the house across the bridge in an hour, if we're in the mood), we hardly ever feel like we need to!
