Charming Swedish cabin built in the 1800's. Two hours from Oslo - and 45 minutes from Karlstad. Set on a hillside beside a quiet path in the heart of Värmland, the cabin backs onto the forest and overlooks a beautiful meadow. Ample room for 6: Two bedrooms, a lounge, kitchen, and dining-room. Surrounding the house there's no-end of space, tall birch trees, grassy areas and flowerbeds. Perfect for families. 10 minutes drive from a beautiful, little sandy beach.
Classic timber construction, with original wooden floors. Inside is painted brightly and captures a lot of sun. There's a large well equipped kitchen-diningroom, with electric cooker, kettle, fridge-freezer, all the main cooking utensils, and hot water. Also a condiments shelf which guests are welcome to. There's a downstairs toilet accessed from the kitchen (but no bath/shower, except outdoor shower), a separate hallway, and a large lounge with wood-stove and double sofa-bed. There's also a nice little children's work-bench in the lounge if the kids get inspired. Downstairs there's also a south facing glass veranda with table and chairs. The building sits atop a small hill and all the downstairs rooms have beautiful unobstructed views across the meadow. Upstairs is accessed via a winding stone staircase that takes you straight into bedroom 1. Bedroom 1 has a large double bed and from here you can access bedroom 2, which contains 2 single beds, and also a baby-cot.
You're 10 minutes drive from Ester's café and the supermarked, the area is full of beautiful old buildings, some are turned into museums, it's possible to go canoeing and fishing in the nearby rivers and lakes.
