'The Library' is the guest room in our house. It is newly refurbished and features a comfortable bed and space to spread out. Our location is on Otago Harbour, 5 km from the stadium for concerts and sport events and the University for conference guests.
Our house is a refurbished 1905 villa manse. We have tastefully redecorated to preserve the house's Edwardian character. The room has windows over an adjoining garden.
Zugang für Gäste
This is a part of the house and facilities such as bathroom and kitchen are shared with either hosts or other guests. We have also listed a fully self-contained annex. We use 'The Library' for special days in Dunedin and when accommodation may be at a premium.
Interaktion mit Gästen
We are happy to interact with our guests and enjoy conviviality, conversation and generally being helpful hosts. You will share breakfast with us or enjoy it on the verandah. We have many other additional options for interaction too, such as shared meals and outings.
Weitere wichtige Infos
This is a part of our house, so we only want quiet guests, and haven't provided a TV. This doesn't preclude your laptop or other devices of course. We will share our wifi code for the duration.

We are a creative and scholarly couple who love nature and entertaining. We envisage our B and B as a retreat for all visitors, including concert-goers, sport-lovers, writers, composers, creatives, and as a great place to spend some nights overlooking Otago Harbour within minutes from the University and Stadium. We love to create: friendships, meals, occasions, events, gardens, memories. We have a history of working in tertiary education, and secondary/ Foundation, and a wealth of experience and knowledge to guide us as we meet and host our guests. We attend cultural events everywhere we go, from operas to shows, exhibitions and cinematic events, and love travelling the world, including Melbourne, Australia, a fine home of eight to nine years. Martin has worked in Vietnam and travelled there 25 times.
