Come and stay at our warm and welcoming home!
Our charming 1944 adobe house has hardwood floors, picture windows, and beautiful, unique touches throughout.
Our house is in downtown Gallup--a short walk to the famous Route 66, the art galleries, and fantastic restaurants that Gallup has to offer. Unbelievable hiking and biking at your fingertips.
A great spot for solo travelers, couples, adventurers, story tellers. We're sure you'll enjoy your stay with us!
Everyone is welcome. Everyone!
We know you'll love it here!
Your room has a comfy queen size bed with clean, white linens, a feather top, and new pillows. We have extra blankets, pillows, and towels in the closet for you if you'd like. Make yourself comfortable! You'll enjoy the beautiful colors of the sunset each evening from your west-facing windows.
Our house was built in 1944 and has had several updates since then--the bathroom (whew!) and kitchen in particular.
Our fully equipped kitchen is free for you to use, too. We have everything you'd need to make a delicious meal. Help yourself to coffee and tea whenever you'd like.
We have high-speed internet for streaming videos and watching TV online. We don't have a TV or cable but do have a projector and screen in the living room that we use occasionally for night movies (usually documentaries about issues concerning Gallup--food justice, politics, etc.) with friends. Hope you can join us!
Make yourself at home in the living room and dining room, too. Our glorious picture windows wash our home with natural sunlight and an open, airy feel. We have a front porch with a small table and chairs--perfect for a sundowner or an early morning coffee! The colors of the sky as the sun sets are incredible.
We are welcome to longer term renters, too, as Gallup draws a number of traveling clinicians and contract workers. We are 1.5 miles from the Gallup Indian Medical Center (GIMC) and 1.7 miles from the Rehoboth McKinley County Health Center (RMCH).
If you are looking to rent longer-term, please inquire as some dates may be blocked off for personal reasons and not because the room is occupied.
We are also open to early check-ins and late check-outs on a case-by-case basis. Feel free to ask about that.
Our home is safe and secure and in a safe neighborhood.
You can park your car in our driveway. If you have a big camper or are towing something, you can park on the street in front of our house. We have a basement, too, if you, for example, don't want to keep your bikes or boats or the like on the top of the car overnight.

You will be sharing our home with us. Cas works from home and so is available for questions at a moment's notice. Caitlyn works at a non-profit in town. Cas developed an awesome Gallup events calendar, so we can help point you towards what's happening in and around Gallup!
We are both very active in the community, enjoy Gallup's Downtown Dinners, hiking, and all of the arts and cultural events in town. We'd be happy to show you around and orient you to Gallup.

The space is perfect for one or 2 people. Sorry to say, we are allergic to dogs and cats so cannot accommodate your pets, as much as we wish we could.
- Welcome babies! Please bring your own crib.
- Feel free to smoke on the porch.
- Do not download movies/music illegally. We have, sadly, had guests do so and have had warnings from our internet provider.

Hi there! Cas and I are hosts in our home. We love meeting new people and exploring our town. We are both active in the community and can direct you to loads of fun stuff to do in Gallup. We really enjoy the hiking trails that are right outside of town.
We have both lived in many different countries and always love good travel stories. Can't wait to hear yours!
