I have a lovely apartment on the ground level of my house. It's newly remodeled and has views of Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountains. Very private and quiet, bright and light. You'll have the place to yourself, but if you need anything, I live upstairs!
Short walk to a small, waterfront park and one block more to one of the largest Seattle parks, with about 2 miles of waterfront, and a salt water, outdoor, public swimming pool (Memorial Day through Labor Day).
Small kitchen with 2 burner cooktop, microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker and toaster and small, but efficient oven. Very comfortable queen size bed, cable TV with Netflix. If you have special needs, please let me know in advance.

Guests have access to the patio area in front of their front door, and a deck off the patio with tables and chairs. There is an outdoor fireplace for very careful people! (Sometimes there are burn bans, especially in summer fire hazard months.) You can also use beach chairs, cooler, and beach umbrellas if you'd like.
I've lived in Seattle a long time and can help arrange activities and suggest destinations. There's really so much to do that you'll probably have to narrow it down. If you are looking for outdoor activities, there are many hiking trails in the two close by mountain ranges (The Olympic Mountains to the West and the Cascade Mountain Range to the East). If you head west you can visit the rain forest and the ocean! North to beautiful country and farmlands, and after 2 hours, Canada! To the south there's Tacoma (45 minutes) with many great museums, and southeast to Mount Rainier. In the winter, head east to several ski areas. People come from all over to enjoy both the downhill skiing and cross country trails.
Seattle is known for it's theater scene, live music and restaurants. Too many to enjoy in a short visit, but you'll have your pick. Right here in the West Seattle neighborhood, within one mile there are many restaurants, bars, shops, live theater and first run, newly remodeled, movie theater. Farmer's Market on Sundays.
Bathroom has a single stall shower (no bathtub).
!/4 mile walk to one of the largest parks in Seattle, with lots of beach access and a salt water swimming pool (open from Memorial Day through Labor Day).
The West Seattle water taxi takes 10 to 15 minutes to downtown Seattle.
Check-in is 4:00 p.m. and check-out is 11:00 a.m.
(Please do not invite extra guests. This rental is for the original guests only, and not suitable for parties or any other social activities including more than a couple of friends.)
I created the kind of space I would be happy to stay in, so I hope you will be happy here too.
Please ask about rates for longer term stays.

I assume most people would like privacy for their visit, and we don't interfere with that. I'm available for help if needed, and always like to hear if there is something that would improve your stay.
I've stayed at AirBnb lodgings and it worked out just great. I have two grown kids and the best granddaughter ever.
I've lived in Seattle a long time so I can help you with places to go and things to do, directions and transportation, if you want.
I look forward to meeting you.
