This lovely Victorian property has been tastefully decorated in a contemporary & chic style by the new owners, whilst retaining many of its character features. ‘The old cells’ have been converted into a breakfast/sitting room and enjoying all the comforts of modern living. It has a big lounge with feature fireplace, there is a 2nd sitting room/dining room with views to the hills behind, the kitchen is really well equipped and the bedrooms are really spacious.

Set on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park, Tywyn is ideally situated for whatever type of holiday you want. For those with families, miles of sweeping sandy beaches can be found all along the coast. If you're into cycling or horse riding, there are numerous scenic places to ride. This is a walker paradise with miles of glorious walk nearby! If you're not the active type, there is lots to do in the area with independent shops, pubs and eateries or how about a ride along the coast on the scenic Talyllyn Railway or Cambrian Coast Railway?

Sitting/ Breakfast room:

This used to be the cells! Lovely original slate floor, original glass-cell windows, wooden extendable dining table with 4 chairs. 3 Seater leather settee, arm chair, TV and patio doors that open onto the rear patio with part views over the hills and the Dysynni Valley.

Kitchen:

Newly fitted contemporary designer kitchen with breakfast table & 4 chairs, TV/CD, original wood floor, tall fridge / freezer, dishwasher, microwave, 4 ring gas hob, double electric oven, kettle, smoothie maker, Nutriblend espresso maker, slow cooker blender & toaster. Everything you need for a big family get together!

Utility/Boot room:

With a washing machine and tumble dryer and spare freezer.

Outside is private parking area (all enclosed) patio area with garden furniture and a view to the hills. Guests can bring disposable BBQs.

The Old Police Station is a great place to stay. We used it for our annual extended family holiday and it served the purpose perfectly. The accommodation was great for 3 separate families and teenaged children, with adequate bedrooms and bathrooms, and 2 separate living areas along with a decent sized, well equipped kitchen. Tywyn itself is a quiet seaside town, with good local shops on the doorstep. The beach is good, but it's a 20 minute walk from the house to the dog-friendly area. Trains to Barmouth are 10 mins walk from the house, and the Talyllyn railway isn't much further from the door. Lots to do as well within half hour of easy driving.

The Old Police Station is an ideal place for large families or group of friends wanting to go around North Wales. It is ideally located between two fantastic beaches-Barmouth and Aberdyfi. The Tywyn town is beautiful with a local beach 10 mins away from the Old Police Station. With many restaurants and pubs around, there is a plenty of option to eat and drink. The property was comfortable and as per our requirement. Would love to come back. Highly recommend.
