With granite countertops, plenty of cabinets and counter space, the kitchen is perfect for preparing meals for small or large groups. The kitchen is fully-stocked with all of the cookware and appliances you need, including a double convection oven, gas range, dishwasher, coffee maker, blender, hand mixer, and small microwave.
The open floorplan turns the kitchen and family room area into one large gathering place. A large east-facing window in the family room provides beautiful morning views of the sunrise over the mountains.
The master suite includes a mission-style bathroom with a over-sized jetted tub, a stone-tile shower, and a separate toilet/bidet room, as well as a large walk-in closet. Skylights provide additional natural lighting to these and other living areas throughout the house.
Upstairs also includes a living room with a digital piano, a library filled with classics and many children's books, an additional bedroom, a bathroom, and a mudroom/laundry room with a drinking fountain and an additional 1/2 bath.
The stairs lead into an open commons area downstairs. Doors open into a very large recreation room with a ping-pong table, foosball table, 65-inch LCD television with CHROMECAST, and a queen sofa-sleeper. There is a DVD player, many family-friendly DVDs, Wii system, board games and puzzles. There are toys for children and even a small hide-out room with toddler toys under the stairs. WiFi access included.
Downstairs includes three bedrooms; two of which have 2 queen beds each and one has a twin daybed with an attached twin trundle bed. There is also a bathroom with double sinks, that includes a separate room within for toilet, shower, and another jetted tub.
Also a pack-and-play crib is available in the upstairs linen closet with white noise machines and earplugs.
There is a two-car garage and a large driveway. The driveway has a basketball hoop. Basketballs are available in the garage for your use.
This house has a large backyard with natural vegetation and gravel surrounding a fire pit. There is a fun slide for children to slide down from the rock retaining wall. The backyard boasts 180-degree views of Ogden, the canyon hollows, and the mountains. The backyard is very private, with views that are truly breathtaking! You can literally go on a hike right from the backyard, or start at one of the many nearby neighborhood trailheads and go hiking or mountain biking. The home is located in a quiet, peaceful Cul-de-sac minutes from downtown, yet feels secluded.
Consider a stay during Autumn to enjoy Nature's spectacular display of vibrant colorful leaves up close from the backyard or a sightseeing drive up Ogden Canyon!
In the Wintertime, enjoy the warmth of radiant heat downstairs and forced air heat throughout the home. Skiers are around 25 minutes away from Ogden Valley where there are 3 wonderful ski resorts: Snow Basin, Powder Mountain, and Nordic Valley. The home is less than one mile from last year's ski bus stop (for 2 of the resorts) at Rainbow Gardens.
Parking: The garage and drive comfortably fit at least 7 vehicles. There is also additional curb-side parking 2 houses away. There is NO Cul-de-sac parking because of ordinances for garb/recycle services and snow removal access.
Recreational and Entertainment Access:
About 25 minutes from 3 ski resorts: Snow Basin, Powder Mountain, and Nordic Valley
20 minutes from Pineview Reservoir
5 minutes from the Junction entertainment area downtown, which includes Climbing Walls, iFly indoor Skydiving, FlowRider Surfing Pool, Bowling, Bumper Cars, Arcade, and Gold's Gym.
Downtown includes one of the BEST children's museums, The Treehouse Museum!. There are also theaters, restaurants, and shopping at the Junction. Dinosaur Park is also a very close fun destination for families.
We are also 11 miles from SEAQUEST, the incredible new interactive aquarium in Layton. Or if you want to embark on a beautiful winter/Christmas experience, we are about 50 miles from Thanksgiving Point's annual LUMINARIA, which begins November 20th! It is a holiday light show that is nothing short of a wonder to behold.
Historic 25th street offers many unique and diverse restaurants, Bakery, Art Galleries, and an Outdoor Amphitheater. Around the corner, Peery Egyptian Theater hosts ongoing performing arts events.

There is room for 2 large vehicles to park in the garage and for at least 6 more vehicles to parallel park down the side of the driveway. There is also additional street parking two houses away for multiple vehicles. There is NO CUL-DE-SAC PARKING ALLOWED because of ordinances pertaining to garbage pick-up and snow removal.
