This is probably the most beautiful suite I have build in my house and that's for rent in Haarlem City Centre. It's the Tower Room
It has everything you need to make your stay in Haarlem extra special. You have a room of 45m2 with your own bathroom and kingsize boxspring. There is a kitchenette and a large table to work or eat from.
The studio is very good for long stay or a luxe short stay. You are right above everything that Haarlem offers you in restaurants, cafe, museum and public spaces.
I would like to welcome you to my house in Haarlem.
It’s been a complete make-over, turning it in to what it now is Riviervismarkt Suites. 4 beautiful, modern, light and brand-new studios. With everything you need just for yourself. You don’t have to share your bathroom or toilet. It’s all there and all for yourself. There are 2 smaller studio’s that are perfect for a short stay and 2 grand studio’s perfect for longer stays of if you want to stay for the weekend and want a luxury room. The choice is yours.
The Studio’s are right in the city centre of Haarlem. That means that everything you want to visit during your stay is nearby. The Teyler’s museum is almost in the backyard. The central square with the majestic Sint Bavo is at the end of the stairs. The famous Frans Hals museum is a 10 minutes walk. The trainstation is also just 10 minutes away and brings you to Amsterdam in just 20 minutes. The beach can be reached by bike, train or bus.
As said before the studio’s are right in the heart of Haarlem. This has the benefit that al the bars and restaurant are in the neighborhood. This also means (sorry to say) that especially on Saturdaynight it can be noisy from the pubs downstairs and the outside with all the people going out late at night. We tried to prevent the noise as much as possible but I can’t prevent everything. Please be aware of this. If you need a quite place to sleep think of this. We are not the only ones. All apartments in the city centre have the same problem.
But it’s still a great place to stay. Haarlem is considered to be the better version of Amsterdam. Smaller, authentic and not so busy. The New York times said (early June 2017) that Haarlem is the best city in the Netherlands to stay a few nights. And we totally agree on that.
If you have any questions about the rooms please don’t hesitate and ask me.
Happy to welcome you as our guest.
Zugang für Gäste
You have access only to your own room and two other rooms.
The first one is the room on the stairway where you find the dishwasher and the storage of extra plates, cups, cutlery, beer and wine glasses.
The other room is the locker room. There you can store your luggage on a very early check-inn or a very late check out. The room is free to use when you want to store a big suitcase or a big bag.
All the other rooms are not accessible and are for me and Lotte to guarantee a perfect stay.

As you are our guests we see to it the we speak to everybody while they are in my house. I try, with Lotte, to personal welcome you and show you your room. A brief explanation of how everything works and how things work at my place.
After that I don’t want to bother you anymore. You must see the city and experience the life we live in Haarlem. See all the attractions. You are in the very heart of Haarlem so everything can be done by foot. Nothing takes more than a 10 minutes walk.
We offer the possibility to pick up the key for your apartment at a restaurant two houses from my place. We can also use a key box that is placed next to the front door. This makes it possible to get access to your room with al the freedom there is. This can be handy when your flight was delayed or I cannot get to you in time to welcome you.
Weitere wichtige Infos
As mentioned before, my house is in the very heart of Haarlem. You cannot get more to the city-centre then this. Across the street there is the world-famous St.Bavo Church. Build in the 1600 and its still standing strong.
With the fact that you in the heart of Haarlem there is offcourse the bars and restaurant that come with it. These are always in the centre and in Haarlem it is no exception. Downstairs we have the most famous Irish Bar from Haarlem, called the Wolffhound. We share the same entrance.
The fact that you are in the centre makes that it can be noisy sometimes. We have bars downstairs and late at night, during the weekend, there are a lot of people walking outside.
If you need a quiet place to sleep this might not be ideal for you. During the week there are no problems but during the weekend you can experience noise. I want to mention this upfront to make your stay as pleasant as possible.
The direct benefit of this place is that its in the middle of the city and everything to make your stay unforgettable is just downstairs.
