We enjoyed our stay at Talia's but there were a few major flaws that will hopefully be remedied soon.
The kitchen is lacking utensils if you are expecting to cook. Knives, forks, glasses, plates, and pots were there, but not much else.
3 of the 4 bedrooms didn't have night stands which required us to drag the wooden chairs from the living room so we could have a space next to our beds for clocks, water, phones, etc.
The shower heads are set at about 4 feet high so I had to get on my knees to wash my hair. The washing machine was leaking so Gary handed me a wrench, since I seemed to know more than him, and then he promptly left. Eventually a repairman came but it still only has hot water hooked up, no cold, so colors do bleed. My wife's white skirt was ruined.
The living room is huge but it only has comfortable seating for 3. The rest are upright armless chairs which aren't the best for kicking up your feet at the end of a tiring day. We dragged a mattress out into the living room to make a day bed with extra pillows.
Lastly, we were quoted a price and overcharged, and when we brought it up with Gary on several occasions, he ignored it.
Also, we found it very odd that every time we tried to contact Talia, she had an excuse to why she couldn't talk. Gary would answer her emails and phone. It made me wonder if Talia exists at all.
In spite of all of this, we really enjoyed our stay. It's a beautiful apartment in a residential neighborhood where we could walk 5 mins to a market and a handful of restaurants. We enjoyed the private parking, and Jaffa Gate was a 20 minute walk or a $10 taxi ride away. Gary was attentive to our phone calls and tried to ameliorate the problems and I'm sure a lot of what I mentioned will be fixed.
