Welcome to your Bolivian family!

Meet the family: Pepe, Bertha, our kids Mateo and Luciana, and our dogs Coco and Bobby (the most friendly and cute dogs in South America!). We invite you to share our home (a retreat from hostels/hotels), be part of the activities we organise, including Spanish lessons, and experience Bolivian culture to the fullest.

We can tailor your experience. Just contact us for more information. We speak Spanish, Spanglish and English!

Die Unterkunft
We have private and shared rooms, WiFi, a washing machine, shared kitchen, and outdoor courtyard. You can enjoy the privacy of your own room or the social shared spaces of our courtyard and kitchen.

We operate a Spanish language school (South America Spanish School), offer volunteer opportunities, cultural excursions and activities such as free Walking tours on Saturdays, regular movie nights, cooking classes on demand...and much more!

We enjoy getting to know our guests! We're happy to give you and advice during your stay and to share our culture with you.

Our home has everything you will need and we will make sure you feel welcome and part of our family. Come and experience a little of Bolivian life, in the heart of Sucre! We look forward to you joining our family.

About the rooms:
Rooms include a comfortable bed with clean sheets, plenty of blankets and a small table for working or studying. We are happy to provide bathing towels during your stay for 10 bolivianos. Most rooms open on to the outdoor courtyard.

Zugang für Gäste
- You're welcome to use the kitchen. There is a refrigerator, stove, oven etc. We cook most of our meals at home and are happy to share the kitchen with you and have breakfast, lunch and dinner together.
- We have four bathrooms with hot water.
- Laundry service is provided for 12 bolivianos per kilo.
- We also have a courtyard where you can enjoy the sun or have a BBQ.

Weitere wichtige Hinweise
We think Sucre is the perfect first destination in Bolivia; it’s a great city to get familiar with the Bolivian culture and it’s also situated at a moderate altitude (2800m).

Sucre is the ideal starting point to acclimatize to the high altitudes in Bolivia and Peru and to continue on smoothly to, for example, the salt flats in Uyuni or to La Paz.

Hi! My husband and I invite you to join our family during your time in Sucre. We live just a 20 minute walk from the main plaza (25 de Mayo) in Sucre. We live with our 12 year old son Mateo, our 7 year old daughter Luciana, my father-in-law, and our big, lovable dogs Morita and Ozzy. I run a Spanish school near the main plaza, and I speak English, Spanish, and Quechua. I'd be happy to arrange Spanish lessons with experienced teachers for you, and you are welcome to join in activities that we organize for our students such as weekend barbeques, sporting events, and cultural excursions (find our school also on (Hidden by Airbnb) or on our website). My husband works at a local NGO that runs an after-school program for low-income children, a hospital, a radio station, and more, and he is passionate about the terrific work they are doing to improve the lives of people in our community. My husband is also very enthusiastic about technology. We love meeting travelers and sharing experiences with them; from time to time we also host students studying at my school. If you're interested in learning about Bolivia and truly experiencing life in Sucre, you'll have a great time staying with us.
