By accepting the access code to this rental unit you are agreeing to the house rules and confirm that the unit is suitable for your stay. (When booking please send us the secret code found in these house rules to ensure your booking request is quickly approved) All adults must sign a printed copy of the house rules and occupancy agreement within 24 hours of check-in.

Arrival/Check-In is between 4pm and 9pm. Please schedule your flights and travel plans accordingly. We meet all guests to personally provide access to the apartment, to obtain the signature of all adult guests on a printed copy of our house rules, and to confirm that the apartment is acceptable.

Check-out time is 11:00 am firm and all check-out tasks must be completed and the unit vacant by that time. If you book a late flight home and want to stay in the unit longer you MUST book an additional night since we have cleaning scheduled to begin the day you check out so we can prepare for our next guests.

Absolutely No smoking anywhere on the property. As per San Jose Municipal Code smoking is prohibited in all indoor and outdoor common areas of apartment communities.

To support the safety of our neighborhood, residents, and guests, our property is equipped with video surveillance cameras on the external public areas of our building.

Strict Quiet hours between 10 pm and 7 am. Please be sensitive to your downstairs neighbor.

No candles.
No open flame of any kind.
No partying and no drugs.
Pets are never allowed.

NO ADDITIONAL GUESTS.
OFF-STREET PARKING FOR 1 CAR ONLY is generally available but is not guaranteed.

This apartment is on the 2nd story, up a flight of stairs.
The unit has a "whole-house fan" and portable fans. There is no AC.

Please remove shoes in the house (shoe covers are provided if needed).

While we have happily hosted families with children this apartment could be stressful for parents as it has not been "child proofed"

The apartment is in good condition, and we'd like to keep it looking that way. You are expected to perform basic cleaning upon check-out and to leave the kitchen and bathroom in the same condition as upon check-in.

Items charged against the security deposit include, but are not limited to: excessive cleaning fees due to spills, stains, lingering odors, any evidence of smoking, damage to walls, floors, floor coverings, windows, window coverings, doors; broken, torn, stained or lost items that require repair or replacement.

Die Wohnung war sehr sauber, ordentlich und wir hatten zu dritt immer genug Platz. Sie waren sehr gastfreundlich und konnten uns für San José und ganz Kalifonien Insider Tipps geben.

Sherri & Stacy's place was very clean and convenient. My group found both beds to be comfortable and everything in good working order. Since we were visiting family we didn't spend much time in the apartment, but were still more than pleased with the kitchen and living spaces. The included Internet/WiFi, parking, and cable made the apartment a great refuge from the city. If you need to sleep two couples, I don't think you'll find a better value in the San Jose area.

Sherri and Stacy have a nice place in San Jose! It takes about 12 to 15 minutes to walk to Santa Row (great shopping, night life and food) and the mall. The courtyard gave it a welcoming feel and we couldn't have asked for a better place. Highly recommend!

Sherri was extremely helpful. The home was really comfortable and had a really stocked kitchen which was great for cooking.

Great host, great location, great experience! My family and I have stayed in this cozy unit upstairs for an entire month, so I definitely have a say on this place! Sherri is a wonderful host. When we first arrived, she quickly settled us in. During our stay, Sherri promptly replied to my questions. Check out is a breeze. Overall very smooth communication. Our unit is part of four-unit condo in which Sherri's families live, so safety is not an issue. The surrounding area itself is quite safe as well. It's located in the heart of Downtown San Jose. Westfield Valley Fair and Santa Row, both high-end and stylish shopping places, are 5 min drive and right next to each other. There is also a mall/outlet hybrid Westgate shopping center nearby. Whole Foods, Costco, Trader Joe's, Sprouts, 99 Ranch Market and other grocery stores are all within 10-15 min driving range. In case you're craving for authentic Chinese food, there's a bunch of good Chinese restaurants in Cupertino. I approve this message because I'm Chinese, although they're not as good as in LA. The unit is a bit small for me because I have a 9-month-old baby girl who crawls everywhere and is just learning how to cruise. However, it's roomy enough for a couple or three friends. All amenities are working fine. One extra point goes to HOT and STREAMING shower!!! Yes, all CAPITALS! Happiness can only be achieved where there's hot and streaming shower, period. Overall, I'm very satisfied with my stay here, and I definitely recommend this place!
