Migdrey's rooms are essentially the same, but we did request a specific room with a larger fridge, as we planned on making breakfast and lunches in the room. A couple of minor check-in issues that were quickly resolved by the host with excellent customer service by her desk staff and herself. Migdrey occasionally checked in with us to see if there were any other issues, and had plenty of suggestions for things to do, and places to eat. The only problem we had was hot water in the room. The host quickly sent the maintenance man up to diagnosis the problem, and it was solved.
Couple of favorite things:
The location to the beach couldn't be any easier. You have to walk out to the pool deck, through a gate, and you are on the beach in seconds. The beach was very spacious with only a few people around you as there is plenty of room to share. Water and beach were free of debris from the hurricanes as well.
Walking distance to restaurants:
There is a great NEW restaurant in the adjacent building called "Lola." Great food, atmosphere and staff. Hoshi Sushi is in the other direction, again in an adjacent building, which served fantastic FRESH sushi.
While the lobby area was always hustling and bustling, the floor we were on, and our neighbors, was very private and quiet. Lots of good relaxation time!
Plenty of friendly Uber drivers for $5-$20/ride to anything <5 miles away.
Couple of minor problems: (not directed at the host, but good to know for area)
The fitness center is almost unusable as most of the equipment is broken or missing. There are no tennis rackets to rent, so the court was not usable. The valet area is quite congested, so if you plan to use a vehicle, this may delay your commuting. Language barrier was a little issue for us as most of the hotel/apartment staff spoke only Spanish.
Overall, Migdrey was a wonderful host to us! We thank her for place and her attention throughout our stay.
