I was born in Western NY and raised in Pittsburgh, Pa. Finished my baccalaureate degree of Horticulture at Penn State University, State College. Before completing my degree I began driving tractor trailer (1993) and have been doing so ever since either part or full time. I have a true passion for driving, travelling, walking, and for music. I also love working on and bringing old buildings back to life.
My driving experience is throughout the lower 48 states, Ontario and Quebec. Seeing the country is magnificent from the seat of a tractor trailer, but the work is not for everybody.
In addition, I have a genuine interest in history and genealogy. I was drawn to Penn Yan because of the local history associated with, and proximity to, my extended family. My husband of 16 years is also very excited about living in this area and shares my passion for driving... and old buildings :)
The Finger Lakes Region of NY is beautiful, and the water in the lakes is like no other, in my opinion. I feel lucky that when I was young I was able to spend time on Canandaigua Lake each summer with my Grandparents. It is my hope that everyone who wants too, can find an opportunity to enjoy all the wonderful things that the Finger Lakes has to offer!
