How to find us:
When you disembark from the ship, the street you will be on is called Akti Papagou street. Continue walking along the harbor on Αkti Papagou Street (on your right, as you come out of the ship). While walking you are going to come across Ethnikis Antistasis Street (it is the same road as Akti Papagou. Just the name changes). Turn left in Chiou Street (the street with the greengrocery stores and the market). Walk on Chiou Street until you see Miaouli Squate on your right. When you reach the square, while still being on Chiou Street, turn left in Mitr. Ant. Politi Street, climb some steps and you will see a playground on your right side and a garden on your left side. At the end of the garden you will turn left so that you have Metamorphosis Church on your right side. Towards the end of the church, after climbing a few steps, turn right and you will be in Omirou Street. (While being in Omirou street , Metamorphosis Church, which is in the corner will still be on your right side. Walk upstairs in Omirou Street until you find our apartments (On your right). The journey lasts about 20 minutes.
In the route there are quite a lot of steps and in case you have heavy luggage it might be a little difficult to come on foot. If so, you might prefer to take a taxi. You are going to find a taxi station on your right, as you come out of the ship. Tell the driver to leave you in Kapodistriou (Καποδιστρίου) and Solomou Street (Σολωμού), in front of the first steps on the left, right before the bakery. Climb the three steps, walk straight in Solomou Street and very soon you will come across Omirou Street, where the apartments are located. In case you decide to take a taxi you may also contact us when you get in the taxi, so that we can tell the driver where to leave you and wait for you there. The minimum price for the taxi is 3.50 euros but from the port they usually take up to 5 euros depending on the luggage. The journey by taxi lasts about 3 minutes. In case you do not manage to catch one of the taxis that will be in the port already, you may call Syros Taxis Ermis at (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN) or Syros Taxi at (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN).
When you come out of the ship, the street you will be on is called Akti Papagou street. Keep driving along the port as the port authorities point out. On the port exit, turn right and continue straight to Andrea Papandreou street (Lalakia). ATTENTION, when turning to Andrea Papandreou street (Lalakia) you should have the Fire Department building (it is on the corner) on your right side. Do not drive parallel to the port! Keep driving in Andrea Papandreou, which is not absolutely straight but continues on with the same name. Do not turn anywhere, and keep driving. You will pass under a bridge and soon you will see on your right side a pink corner building with the inscription "Μίνι Μάρκετ Μανώλης" (Mini Market "Manolis"). You will not pass it by. You will turn right so that you have the mini market on your left side. Immediately, you will turn left to Kapodistriou street and almost immediately after you will turn right to Riga Fereou street. In the space with the trees and around it you may park. For this route you will need about three minutes. To continue to the apartments on foot, turn right to Papaglika street. At the end of Papaglika street turn left to Solomou street and continue to its end . There you will find Omirou street where we are. In case you have any difficulties, you may call us to help you.

Once upon a time, in the historic center of Hermoupolis in 1860, a large house with lots of windows, plenty of doors and a garden with three sour orange trees was built. The pedestrian Omirou Street was filled with life and happy children's voices. Years passed slowly, as the owners and tenants succeeded one another with their happiness and their sorrows, writing the story of the house. And the time continued to pass chasing the years, the months, the weeks, the hours, the minutes. The house became desolate. No one lived in it anymore. Worn and silent, it conjured up the old days. It was the moment when Antouanetta decided to find a house in Hermoupolis. She saw lots of houses that were on sale those days, but none of them was suitable. The third year she noticed it. That was it. No one ever understood whether Antouanetta chose the house or the house chose her. In 1998 she began to deal with its renovation. It was not easy at all. Sometimes she was in despair and thought she wouldn't make it but she kept on. She never gave up the attempt. Then came the spring of 2009 and the house stood there at the same spot as in 1860, but happy and ready to continue its story. Antouanetta gave it her name.
Thank you for continuing its story with us.
