Our home is a light-flooded, two bedroom apartment in Bucktown, offering a perfect combination of quiet comfort and walking-distance proximity to bars, restaurants, and shops. We are a five-minute walk to Armitage & Damen (The Map Room, AMK, Coast Sushi), a ten-minute walk to the Western Blue Line stop, and a four-minute bike ride from the 606 trail, with plentiful street parking available around our unit.
This is a two-bedroom apartment on the top floor of a three story building, flooded with an abundance of natural light. We have one bedroom furnished with a queen mattress, and the other 'bedroom' set up as a combination vanity / bike storage / study. The couch in the living room can also sleep one person very comfortably.

We have to pets, one small dog, and one cat. We will take the pets with us when you occupy the space, but please note that these animals live here, if you have extreme allergies. On the other hand, if you are a cat lover and would prefer our (extremely friendly) cat Pip stayed at the apartment with you for your stay, that can potentially be arranged as well, provided you look after her (and endure her intensive snuggling).

This is our normal home, so we will be ceding its care to you for the duration of your stay. Sometimes we may be out of town, other times around staying with friends and family, but either way, we are happy to provide recommendations for things to see and do in Bucktown and throughout Chicago.
I'm a freelance writer, so I travel frequently, as my office is--blessedly--anywhere with WIFI. I write poetry and essays (not generally at the exact same time); I like coffee and wine (not often at the exact same time); I ride bicycles but do not wear spandex; I like semi-colons but hate pretension; I believe in the gift economy and hops; I refuse to relinquish delight.
