Thank you Mack, for making it clear why I have a 23 rule. Please, all guests, Read all the rules before agreeing and instant booking. It’s very important, so you avoid an awkward fit, and a host has every legal right to have you leave for breaking the rules and keep all of your money.
The majority of my guests are professionals here on business, who love and expect a clean home, and return time and again. It was only after 2 weeks of complaints from others, that I had to ask to clean up after herself in the shared spaces. Only a teenager would complain about a home being too clean. Also communicating with adults, who are not your parents, are skills not fully developed in a teenager. It’s unfortunate that during those 30 days, you were unable to share your feelings. Also, a teenager might forget to express appreciation and gratitude for all the extras, such as the bike I provided, since you had no transportation. And allowing mom to guest for 3 days at the last minute, even though we were at capacity. Thank you again for illustrating why I have been a super host from day 1. Live and learn!
