If you can bear to tear yourself away for the day, Mulberry Cottage is a lovely retreat to return to after a busy day exploring Wells, spending a day on the beach, or even venturing further afield. With so much to do, it might be hard to chose. And you've no need to worry about finding somewhere to park when you get back - there's two parking spaces here for you. But, if you just want to stay in and relax, there's no nicer place to be.
From the cottage, you are only a few minutes' walk from the centre of this ever popular seaside town, with its bustling quayside, independent shops, cafes and some great gastro pubs. It's only a ten minute walk to the Quay and, if you are feeling energetic and like walking, you can reach Wells beach in another ten to fifteen minutes (or quicker if you are super fit). It's well worth the effort - this is one of the most stunning beaches you will see. There is something here for everyone, at any time of year and whatever your age. And please don't leave without trying a spot of crabbing from the Quay, and some of the freshest fish and chips around.
