I came to Paris with my girlfriend and it was our first time in an Airbnb, so take this comment for what it’s worth.
Philippe is a nice host. Communicates well.
The location of the house is very good, nice area, metro is 5 minutes away.
When we checked in we were introduced into a house that has a door to the outside (woke up some times with rain sounds). Privacy is reasonable since the door is “windowed”, and has a small vertical window on the right with some translucid curtains covering it. That wasn’t a big issue.
No TV in the house, but I don’t know how common it is to have a TV in an Airbnb. Would be nice to have one just for some ambient sound and presence.
The bed made lots of squeaky sounds, which had us waking up at night plenty of times.
The main issue was in the “cleanness” of the apartment.
When we opened up the bed sofa, the sheets had orange, red and black stains on it. It also had some hairs from other people, both in the sheets and in the pillows.
The towels provided by Philippe, some also had plenty of hairs, and that was a bad experience.
Overall it was a reasonable experience.
- good bathroom

- noisy bed
- windowed door
- hairs in sheets, pillows and towels
