Hi, I have a room available on either a monthly basis or for a long term roommate. Everything in the apartment is pretty new and modern.
I'm looking for a monthly roommate for either one or more months or for the long term.
Please do not place a reservation without contacting me first as to inquire as to those dates. I may have conflicts that are not reflected in my calendar and might be forced to reject any reservations I did not clear beforehand.
Building approval may be required.
Please note that this building is something strict and there might be some additional requirements from the building for incoming roommates. Any reservation acceptance is conditional on their approval.
I may have changed some of the furniture in the room from time to time. I plan to add a private refrigerator in the future.
Please note that the living room is not generally available to guests as its private space for the main residents in the apt.
We have 2 cats at this apartment.
There are 2 bathrooms in this apartment, however only 1 is available to be used by the guest. That bathroom is also shared.

I will consider discounts for multi-month reservations. Depending on demand I may be flexible on pricing with the following is my general asking price on monthly reservations.
$1,300/month - 1 month
$1,200/month - 1-4 months
$1,100/month - 4+ months
Note the discounts for 1-4 and 4+ months are only available if you stay for the entire term agreed upon. If you leave early, I reserve the right to adjust the rate you were charged back to $1,300/month and likewise charge your deposit for the difference. Also please keep in mind that demand can be pretty high for the spring, summer and fall.
Also the discounts on 2+ months may also depend on your ending date terminating on the 1st of a month as that is usually when people move here. You can contact me about other check out dates, but the discount may vary if you are not leaving on the 1st or at least very close to the 1st.
Note. I consider multi-month reservations a deal for the entire term breakable only in special circumstances. As I probably also need to keep paperwork available for my building if asked for, any incoming roommate may be asked to sign an agreement for the entire term of their stay. I also require a copy of your id as well.
I give preference to monthly reservations.
Please note that for the monthly rate I require a minimum of at least a month's reservation (30/31 days) not 28 days as airbnb specifies. This is due to local regulations that differentiate between a short term and a long term stay and associated costs with both.
- Approval is conditional on building approval if required.
- You must not communicate about your airbnb stay with anyone else in the building or anywhere else; that includes neighbors, building management, or anyone else.
- If you lock yourself out, you must contact me. Building management will not let you in and you may not contact them to let you back into the apartment.
