Couldn't ask for better hosts, in particular Marian is a superstar at her job. This was more a case of the place needing a lot of maintenance work and as such not fit for purpose. I provided a full report to Marian to action. Wi-Fi was an abomination, not usable for anything. Had to use 4G at all times, costing me over $500. Once again thanks guys for being such great hosts, but the owner needs to understand that property needs to be fit for purpose prior to sticking people in it period.

I strive for, and have received, positive reviews for all my Airbnb listings. Therefore, I will attempt to explain the lower rating from this guest. Kate requested emergency accommodation for a period of 3½ months. As I didn’t have medium-term accommodation available at that time, I offered Kate a newly-acquired, albeit old and barely furnished, unit to Kate for a reduced rate of $29 per night ($200 per week), with the agreement that the unit wasn’t Airbnb ready to my high standard and that I required access to perform repairs and improvements during the period. In consideration, access was mostly when Kate was absent. The unit is completed to a higher standard now, and Kate is most welcome to return for two complimentary nights’ accommodation; I am confident that she will be satisfied now, as the unit is truly lovely.

The property is an Queenslander converterted into 4 units, it has character & charm. Conveniently located .Can get a little noisy on a Friday & Saturday night as the building is located next to the nightclub strip.but that is to be expected .
