You will find plenty of food stores, bakeries and supermarkets; literally dozens of restaurants for every taste and pocketbook around the apartment; as well as museums, theaters, cafés with sidewalk terraces, cinemas and, of course, the studios of famous artists and writers of the past (and present!): Picasso, Gauguin, Modigliani, Max Jacob, Henry Miller and many more. You can virtually step into their lives by discovering their favorite neighbourhood haunts.
“Its as Parisian as you can get.”Amazing neighborhood matched with the perfect location, within walking distance of Montmartre and the Luxembourg gardens, with the added advantage of having a Metro stop just steps away from the front door. For those looking for an authentic Parisian home with all of the modern amenities, look no further. Its as nice as the pictures look, very large windows allowing plenty of light, very comfortable and picturesque!
Inside, it's lovely, unique, a kind of rambling warmth and artistic flair abounds. If you want a soulless sanitized boring place, go elsewhere. This house is all soul!
Each and every room is unique and you can feel the love and care with which it has been put together. The space is super large - which is fantastic for a family with kids.
apartment is on two floors and is a magnificently spacious and airy. The art and artifacts create such a rich ambience and there's a grand piano which is fun to play. There is plently of space for lounging - two sitting areas in fact, and a lovely dining area with french windows that open to allow a delightful breeze, and a great working kitchen in which you will enjoy cooking your meals with luscious produce from either Rue Daguerre or the Wednesday morning market around the corner on Edgar Quinet Blvd. The bedrooms are lovely and the beds very comfortable and the linens crisp.
