We had a great start with our host who provided timely, thoughtful suggestions as to how we could make her property work for our family. As we went along she again provided, at my request, suggestions for golf, dining, shopping and other activities. All of this was very helpful to us and gave us a good feeling going into the trip. We also had a Thursday to Thursday schedule which she accommodated and made the air and ground travel work better and less expensively. The house itself was perfect for our family which included twins (18-month-old grandchildren), their parents, and two other grown daughters. The den, inside the #2 bedroom, was perfect for the twins and their parents were close. The twin bed room was perfect for two girls. We loved the master suite which opened onto the patio, and the closet there was great. Of course, the highlight was the outdoor view and pool. The pool was a bit small, but perfect for our family - great for cooling off, and easy to deal with kids. We went next door to the community pool to work out, or to get away. The view was really better than advertised. I am a golfer and played the Nicklaus Tournament course two times, and it was great fun to watch the golfers (hole #6), and to play "in your own backyard." All guests commented how much they enjoyed the wide-open view of the course and the mountains. Finally, this house was as well-provisioned as any rental we have ever stayed in. Ample towels, supplies, great garage, TVs, kitchen utensils - even a garlic press! Cleaning supplies we didn't have to purchase, along with paper supplies and trash bags. I cannot say enough. But thanx to our host for making it such a pleasant experience all-around.
