The property features seven 100+ year old trees and a rose garden. A porch swing on the front of the house is a perfect spot to relax, enjoy a warm or cold drink, and watch the sunset. In the rear of the house, a private court yard includes a garden and flagstone patio area beneath a lantern-lined crab apple tree. Inside, the house has an airy feel, with 11 foot tall ceilings and an open floor plan. Unique and/or vintage furniture is placed throughout the home, as well as historical maps, framed in old Telluride barn wood.

Weitere wichtige Infos
Please take note of the following points:
***The Burlington Northern Santa Fe railroad line is near the house. During the day, watching the train come through town is rather exciting, but it is possible that during the night, the train horn can wake you up. The horn is especially loud if the windows are left open. Please take this into account when booking our airbnb.
***This is an old home. Although many updates have been done since the early 2000's, there will be things that feel or "act" old. Please be aware of this when booking our airbnb.
***We have installed a silent ventilator in our home, which refreshes the total air content of the house once per hour. This leaves the air as fresh as the outdoors, a rarity for an old home. We do not have an air conditioner, since the house stays cool throughout the summer, both from the shade of the old trees, and because the double layer bricks act to block the outside heat.
All are welcome! Mutual respect is expected. Only relatively clean shoes in the house. Have fun!

Hi! I study geochemistry at the University of Colorado, USA. I really love what I do for a job, and I also love my beautiful girlfriend, good food, being outdoors to run, hike, climb, and much more. I am kind and considerate and like to make new friends. I prefer peaceful settings instead of busy places. If we ever meet, I have some fun stories to tell from expeditions to Greenland and Alaska, plus stories about film, photography, and science work all over the world.
