The house is located in a tranquil, peaceful, safe neighborhood and has beautiful views of the mountains with lots of sunlight. It has a very private, remote feel. Rather than a rental, it feels as if a close friend gave me her house for a week. Janet put a lot of thought into making sure her guests have all the comforts and conveniences of home. Her generosity is quite obvious as is her eye for detail. The home is beautifully furnished and spotless – filled with classic antique furniture. The kitchen is fully stocked: wine, beer, breakfast items, kitchen (and refrigerator) staples, spices for cooking, and a substantial assortment of snacks. The appliances are new (efficient stove, quiet dishwasher, large refrigerator) as well as a washer/dryer. The bathrooms have so many amenities (soap, shampoo, hair blower) there is no need to bring your own supplies. There is also cable television and high-speed internet. I would return here without hesitation!
This is my first Airbnb stay and it was the most amazing experience! I will never stay in a hotel again! You can tell right away Janet put a lot of thought in making her home as a "home away from home". From the well stocked refrigerator, picnic necessities, stocked draws and cabinets of cooking items and the awesome "goody basket" that she put together. The house is set back in a quiet community and has nothing but nature around it. There is lots of natural sunlight coming in from all the windows and there is a back patio to sit and watch the sunsets. We found the walking/bicycle path behind the house. (Janet even made a little stepping stone trail for us to find it). The view was breathtaking with the mountains in the background. Janet's directions to the house and tips for restaurants was extremely helpful. We really feel in love with Café Fina and definitely recommend it! The quiche was to die for! We will definitely be back again!
Very relaxing and peaceful place in natural setting. Lots of birds, apple trees, and refreshing mountain air. Beautiful interior with everything you need. Janet even keeps the fridge stocked in case you are too relaxed to go anywhere. You have a coffee maker with coffee provided. Full kitchen. There is a grill I might try to use next time. Backyard is really great for breakfast in the crisp morning air. Flowers and hummingbirds right off the front porch. Kickass TV and sound system for your A/V needs. Very comfortable bed with ceiling fan in master. 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. Plenty of space. I stayed Labor day weekend and the weather was amazing. No need for AC or heat. I hope to come back and stay during winter time.
Such a fabulous place! The casita was spotless and beautifully furnished in a combination of southwestern and antique styles. High end bedding and toiletries provided, plus a fully stocked kitchen with amazing treats plus a variety of beers and wine. The house sits on an oversized lot with lovely landscaping and a great deck to have breakfast at. Loved this home---would return in a heartbeat!
