Welcome and thank you for looking at our space! We are located on a peaceful country road just outside of the historic downtown of Franklin, KY, 10 minutes from I-65, and 10 miles from Kentucky Downs. Our house is a beautifully and tastefully remodeled 1920s brick farmhouse.
Both museum professionals, we have decorated our house with antiques in the shared spaces and have kept a simple clean style in the available private spaces.
We are happy to welcome guests of all backgrounds!
The main area we have listed is bedroom number 1, it's private bath, and bedroom number 2. These spaces make up the entire second floor and would only be rented to the same person/family. Both rooms would use the same bathroom. All of the essential amenities are included in the room and bath including extra blankets, towels, and toiletries. Both rooms have separate heating and cooling, so temperatures can be set individually and separate from the rest of the house.
On the first floor we have an additional guest bedroom (number 3). This is simply a bedroom and offered as an alternative to the second floor. The entrance to this room is off of the dining room, where there is a half bath for this rooms use. Guests would have access to the main bath in the master bedroom for showering.
Common areas include a large and comfortable family room, a dining room, kitchen with breakfast bar, outdoor patio, and outdoor dining area. Although we would make these areas available, we do ask for common courtesy as we do live in the house and will be using these spaces.
Zugang für Gäste
If needed, guests can access a washer and dryer on the first floor in the family room.
