Our 2B, 2B furnished condo is located in the vibrant, growing, urban downtown San Diego community of East Village. Located on the 4th floor of a 5 story building and just a few blocks from Petco Park, dozens of Resaurants/Bars, and the San Diego Bay
Location - East Village is a perfect location in downtown San Diego. The condo is just a few blocks from the Gaslamp District, Convention Center, Petco Park, San Diego Bay, and dozens of restaurant/nightlife spots.
The condo is a perfect mix of function and lodging. Located in the corner of the 4th floor of the building, you will be able to enjoy some peace and quiet & sights and sounds of the city. The condo has been our home, and thus has been treated as our home. Its fully furnished with a master bedroom w/en suite bathroom, second bedroom with a full second bathroom, and an open common space capable of lounging, cooking, dining in, or hosting some friends. Standard amenities include: guest Chrome book for computer usage, printer/copier, guest WiFi, iPhone charger, TV's in every room, Apple TV, extra toiletries, laundry, host beverages, and anything else we can think of that will help make San Diego the focus of your stay.
The condo is roughly 1,000 sq. ft. and will comfortably house 4 guests (with couch 5 is still comfortable).
Once you arrive on-site, please consider our residence to be your residence.
Instructions for access to the unit will be sent on booking (or close to your stay). We'll never be residing at the unit during a stay. Our goal is to let you enjoy the place and the city and surroundings. However we will always try to be available in some capacity to provide guidance or help whenever needed.
East Village is the fastest growing (residential and commercial) area of the city but remains its own unique neighborhood. East Village represents a unique blend of trendy, artistic, and modern. Other than the ball park, there are many restaurants, bars, and shops all within walking distance including, but not limited to, The Bay, Convention Center, Seaport Village, Marina and Gaslamp. Also, Coronado, Littly Italy, Golden Hill, Hillcrest, North Park, and Old Town are a 5-10 minute drive and beach communities (OB, PB, Mission, La Jolla) between 10-20 minute drive.
Many restaurants and bars are within walking distance of our condo (all the way to Gaslamp). Additionally Car2Go is headquartered in East Village, and there are plenty of Uber cars and taxi's in the area. The trolley is also located on the backside of the building waiting to take you to Old Town and beyond.
Noise - Since the unit is part of a condo building, we only ask that you keep late night noise levels reasonable (sound travels with backdoor open) We would expect the same from our neighbors.
Pets - Pets (preferably small) are allowed, but please let us know so we can provide any guidance / insight that would be helpful with your stay (and for us cleaning).
Smoking Not Allowed. As advised earlier this was our home and one day may be our home again. Smoking is not allowed in our condo. But, outside of the building there is plenty of space to hang out enjoy the sights and smoke if needed.
My wife & I are a late 20s, early 30s professional couple. We work hard, so we have the opportunity to travel. We believe that whether business or pleasure travel should be an experience that gives someone new insight into a place not called home. We spend our time outdoors running, hiking, working out, and enjoying the near full year sunny weather of San Diego. We are passionate about our four animals (2 small dogs, and 2 cats) who keep us entertained, volunteering, a good time with good people, wine, and making the best of any situation. It gives us great pride to share our condo, and allow people an alternate opportunity for enjoying our beautiful city.
