Thank you for your feedback. All information regarding visitors and extra charges are on the listing description and house rules before our guests agree to book with us. Any problem/disagreement re our prices and rules, guests are more than welcome to find another place to stay, or work on coordinating with us regarding their concerns before their stay.
We usually do not have guests inviting a lot of visitors inside the unit throughout the day on a daily basis, so this is the first time we’ve had this incident. Before the guests’ stay, they already inform us of their intention to invite visitors and inform us who might be coming throughout their stay, and we inform the front desk before they check in so it has never been a hassle before.
We have had a couple of problems in the past, guests breaking into our locked closets, breaking into the stock room, stealing personal items, partying and damaging items on different occasions. In the end, this is still our personal home, thus we have worked together with the admin regarding our personal security, making sure that as homeowners, we are aware of who we are allowing in and out of the apartment. We expect guests to respect that.
Because of this experience, we have actually informed the security beginning yesterday regarding allowing your visitors (and any visitors in the future) to simply log at the front desk to avoid the hassle of our guests having to confirm back and forth with us every single time.
As mentioned, the charge for extra people is clearly stated in the listing description. We understand that our unit is more expensive than most in the market for the reason that you will not find our type of home anywhere in Manila. We place a high value to our home, our authentic furniture and complete amenities, marketing to people who can afford and truly understand its value when they touch our curtains, when they sit on our couches, when they lie down on our bed... and share the same appreciation we have.
We will note your other concerns in order to improve our service. Thank you and good luck with your ventures!
