Shepherds Cottage is a large self catering cottage situated in Beadnell. Built in the 1800’s this traditional stone cottage is situated in its own grounds on the outskirts of Beadnell village. Large farmhouse kitchen which leads out onto a raised patio area with outdoor sofas and dining table overlooking the large garden perfect for children and pets to play.
Opposite the kitchen is an utility area ideal for wet clothing, boots and wet dogs!
In between the lounge and kitchen you will find a formal dining room with a beautiful dining table, perfect for special occasions, this also leads into a spacious conservatory with another dining area (up to 14) where you can enjoy your evening meals watching the sunset. At the far end of the conservatory there is a seating area with comfortable sofas to relax and enjoy the views over the garden to the Cheviots.
A warm cosy lounge is situated at the front of the cottage with a wood burning stove, comfortable sofas and a beautiful window seat with fantastic views of Beadnell Bay.
Shepherds Cottage Bedrooms – The first of the 4 bedrooms is at the front of the house with one window overlooking Beadnell bay and one window overlooking the garden and views to the Cheviots, en-suite bathroom with Jacuzzi bath. (zip and lock beds to create either super king or twin beds). There are 3 further double rooms all with King sized beds and en-suite shower rooms. The master bedroom and one of the bedrooms are set up as family rooms with a single bed in as well as the king size bed. 2 of the bedrooms have French doors leading onto a small decking area where you can enjoy your morning tea/coffee enjoying the sea views.
As well as having the large patio area with sofa and chairs for relaxing and enjoying the sun you will find an indoor BBQ hut for all year round BBQ’ing The garden is fully enclosed so ideal for children and pets.
At the side of the cottage you will hopefully find the ‘secret garden’ and enjoy a glass of wine while enjoying the views over towards the sea.
