Horn Ok Please Hostel is a backpackers paradise in the heart of Mumbai. We have three air-conditioned dorms with 8 beds each and one of them is reserved for the ladies only (without an extra charge!). There is a 24/7 reception for any requests you might have and to ensure your safety. We are a team of locals and travellers by heart and available for any questions you might have. We also organise pub crawls, walking tours and other activities. It's a social space. For travellers. Not tourists!
We have set-up a backpackers hostel in a 100-year-old Building typical for this historical neighbourhood. However, we have added all modern amenities to make you feel comfortable. All dorms are air-conditioned, the showers have warm water 24/7. There is free wifi. And best of a all: there is lots of common space to meet other travellers and hang out together. We want you to make the best of your time in Mumbai and meet lots of new friends and this space is perfect for that.

We have someone at the reception all the time, 24/7 to be there for you. If you have any travel related questions, we work together with a local travel agent to help you figure out your travel plans and bookings. We have lots of brochures and maps for you to explore the city. And we also love to take you out for pub crawls and more.
I've been living and working in Mumbai on and off since 2010 and love my life here. Yes, it's a challenge sometimes but it never gets boring and I learn new things every day.
As a retired tour leader, I love to share my passion for a place with travellers. I get really excited showing my guests my favourite spots and explaining them the history of a place. It's always so much fun to see my adapted home through the eyes of a first-time visitor.
I work for a local travel agent that helps foreign travellers plan and book travel itineraries through India. I myself have travelled extensively in India, South East Asia, Europe and North America.
