This is a quiet neighbourhood where families have lived for generations. It used to be the old Jewish Quarters before the troubles. People used to have keys to the park and sailed their boats there. There is a lot of fishing now but no sailing. Before the troubles in Northern Ireland this area was on a par with the Malone Rd in Belfast. It is an area of outstanding beauty, surrounded on all sides by various Parks including Cavehill Country Park with Belfast Castle which has a fab Restaurents as good as anywhere in Belfast and a great coffee shop/ bar also serving meals. Zozos, Murphy Browns and Sylvestors are just 3 great restaurents nearby.
Hi, I have always been interested in people of all nationalities. I choose my house because of its history, it's proximity to the mountains where I can go hiking at the weekends and because having travelled the world I thought North Belfast is the most stunning part of the city. The roads are tree lined, there are views of the mountains all around, I enjoy seeing the fishermen at work in the lakes across the road, the beach where the Titanic sailed by on it's only voyage is a few minutes by car, I love to walk there, there is an abundance of shops and shopping Centres nearby and the city centre is a 10 or 15 minute drive away with buses going there every 10 minutes or so. So I can enjoy retail therapy in abundance!. With a alternative therapy unit re reflexology and such around the corner and a beauty Salon on the other corner relaxation at the weekends is complete. My hobbies are interior design, Art, hill walking and travelling. I enjoy cooking and gardening. I love animals and meeting new people.
