Quiet neighborhood, 8 min walk to light rail T and Newton Center's eclectic collection of eateries and small shops. Wireless throughout, enhanced cable, We love hoasting and assisting our guests.
We have been our B&B (The Park Lane) for 19 years. We are both cozy and convenient. The three rooms afford a comfortable stay on a quiet tree-lined street, which is a quiet alternative to the busy streets of Boston. Our 100 year-old house, with its beamed ceilings, hardwood floors, working fireplace and antiqued decor embraces you with its eloquent casualness after a day filled with sightseeing or work. You can run along Comm Ave. (the marathon route) or Chrystal Lake, each being five minutes walk.
We are relocation specialists (Jim is a life-long Newtonian and is a Real Estate agent) We provide fax and computer accessability if needed, safe off-stret parking. Glluten-free, kosher, lactose free and other special dietary needs accommodated upon advance request.
The cozy corner of our kitchen is where our guests gather each morning for our enhanced continental breakfast, which often includes fresh home-made bread (by Jim) and jams (from our friend John)--all served by Patti. We are flexible if you require an earlier start.
We know the T and the roads and provide maps, shortcuts, and advice for touringbased on our years of experience. The double and twin rooms on our top floor afford privace from the rest of the house, where even the most finicky of sleepers can find a good night's rest.
No shoes in the house.

So glad you have booked in with us. I'm a little confused by this part of the process....never had to do this before. I think it's for you and your mom. All I can say is that we will be happy to help you have a great time here at the Park Lane.
