Die Unterkunft
The house is very well decorated and furnished. The interior and exterior of the house is wheel chair friendly and a ramp can be supplied for the entrance to the house. (There is one small step at the front door.)
One enters the front door to the main hall which has two wicker chairs and a table that holds all the local information.

To the left of the main entrance is a large sitting room. This has a sofa, two arm chairs and occasional chairs. There is an open stone faced fireplace. The view from the bay windows in this room is stunning. One looks out onto the ocean and islands and beyond to the horizon. The sunsets have to be seen to be believed!

The living room opens onto a smaller sitting room which has a comfy sofa; two chairs, and a TV. This room leads onto the dining room which has six windows making the room very bright with more views of the sea and islands. The dining room can comfortably accommodate up to 20 people.

The large kitchen is set behind the dining room. This kitchen was designed for the house when it ran a restaurant and bed/breakfast. It is all stainless steel but it is very user friendly. The kitchen has also lovely views. There is a large fridge, microwave, dishwasher, two sinks, gas cooker and gas hob, lots of cookware, toaster, coffee maker, coffee press and kettle.

There is a utility room opposite to the kitchen. This has a freezer, sink lots of storage which holds the glass ware, cups, saucers etc. The utility room has a door that leads out onto the back yard. Along the hallway from the kitchen is a small sitting room with an open fire, comfortable seating, TV and views to Omey Island. This is a lovely room to curl up in with a book or to let the children watch TV, or play games on chillier days. There are two bedrooms in this area of the house. The first is a small room with a single bed and a private bathroom. The large bedroom is the master bedroom with ensuite bathroom. There are lovely views. The bathroom has a separate shower and a Jacuzzi bath.

Leaving this area of the house one walks along the hallway (past the kitchen) there are two powder rooms on the left. Continue on towards the main entrance and here there are six bedrooms, two with sea views; all ensuite with bath or shower. All bedrooms very well furnished with beautifully made beds.
