Antje booked my room for 6 weeks. She stayed in my apartment for the first two weeks in my presence. She made great comments about my apartment during the first two weeks as everyone can see below. In the third week, I was out of town snowboarding during my winter vacation and Antje stayed and enjoyed my apartment alone for the price of a room.
In the fourth week, due to her personal issues, Antje did not stay in my apartment and canceled the fifth and sixth week bookings.
Airbnb rules are clear and are all exposed on my profile. When the guest does not appear to check in the money is not refundable. Or according to the cancellation policy, the guest has 50percent refund in case of cancellation 7 days before the reservation.
Even though all the rules were clear, Antje kept asking me for the money from her reservation back of the weeks in which she booked and did not appear and suggested in private messages that I was being dishonest with her. Antje did not read the rules proposed by Airbnb when she booked my apartment and now makes nasty comments about my apartment, quite different from the first two comments she made on my profile.
Remember that I am not renting my apartment, but rather a room inside my apartment. I suppose you should live in a 500-square-meter house to say that my apartment is too small.
My apartment comfortably accommodates two people, and as I am only present for sleeping, most of the time the guest can enjoy my apartment alone as you did during my week-long vacation in the mountains.
What a sad thing to do!
I wish the best for you Antje.
