This is a one bedroom apartment situated in the heart of the Quartier Latin, on the sixth floor (top) floor of a 19th century building with an (small) elevator. In the neighborhood there are all sorts of entertainment and services such as cinemas, fashion store, nice restaurants, and cafes.
This quiet apartment (by Parisian standards, of course) faces the rue Gay-Lussac street and has a south exposure, with brings in great natural light. The building's main entrance gate is protected by a security system, a digicode-access hallway and a concierge.
The flat's entrance gives access to the living room and kitchenette and the apartment has painted walls, parquet throughout, and crown moldings. The bathroom and the kitchenette are tiled with vintage "tommettes".
The living room has French doors opening onto a balcony with a table and chairs, and a wonderful view of the Eiffel Tower and the Montparnasse Tower. The living room is furnished with a futon, a TV, a sofa that you can use as a bed (a real single bed), armchairs, a fold out table that seats up to 6, and two original decorative fireplaces. Two adults can comfortably sleep in the living room.
The spacious Jack& Jill bathroom has a washbasin surmounted by a mirror, a shower with natural light, a WC and a washing machine. On one side of the bathroom is the living room, on the other is the bedroom.
The very quiet bedroom is furnished with a bed (double), a desk, a bookshelf and a closet. The window opens above a quiet courtyard and overlooks the Panthéon.
The kitchenette is quaint but fully functional. It was completely remodeled (modern!) last fall and is equipped with a freezer, refrigerator, electric burner with oven, microwave and a coffee maker.
We had one complaint about cleanliness and addressed it with the guest AND changed cleaning service (-;
The flat has been entirely repainted last fall as well, and the 1869 façade has been completely restored this winter (any allusions to the construction comments in past reviews relate to that. It was all completed in Dec. 2013)
Inbox us for more information or questions, in the meantime, heartfelt thanks for checking us out! :-)

No pets. Sorry about this rule, we cannot accommodate pets, as tiny as they might be. Our insurance policies isn't pet friendly, unfortunately and we would have to jack up the price of the rental.
No noisy parties. You will appreciate the quietness of the building and so do the apartment's neighbors, so please keep the noise level to a minimum between 10pm and 8am. Thank you for all the other tenants ;-)
A 75 euro cleaning surcharge fee will be invoiced if the guests do not leave the apartment in mint conditions.
On site, cleaning service can be pre-arranged for 60 euros per visit. Once a week max.
150 Nächte Mindestaufenthalt vom 8. Januar 2016 - 1. Mai 2018.
We are a mother-daughter team... Mom in Paris, daughter in the USA... Mom is retired (she was a computer engineer) and handles the on-location logistics for the rental of our place.
I work in Marketing and photography and help with all the communication with folks interested in spending time in Paris. So if you simply inquire about our place, I'll be emailing you. If you actually go to our place, my Mom will be with you there :-)
We thoroughly enjoy contributing to the paradigm change that no, not all Parisians are rude (-;
More seriously, we really enjoy helping people make the best out of their time in Paris and experience it more... like Parisians (rather than only abiding by the traditional beaten tourists paths).
Oh, and we speak Spanish, Portuñol, French and English and will dabble in a couple more like Italian or German.
