Thanks Guillaume, it was great hosting you.
As a quick note to future guests: first off, it was definitely our mistake that we switched up a check-in date. We're usually on top of these things but had a slip up for this one. We'll correct that and make sure it doesn't happen again.
Second off, I do live in the apartment - just happened to be traveling during Guilalme's stay.
Finally - all guests should absolutely expect a nice clean space when they check in, but after check in it's on the guests to help us keep the space clean. We're not running a Ritz Carlton here, we don't provide maid services while guests are checked into their rooms. Guests are expected to helps us keep bathrooms and common spaces clean themselves. This room is more like a hostel than a hotel. We love hosting and meeting people, but folks.. have a little common sense and realize that for less than $100 a night in New York City, you're not going to have someone cleaning up after you. This ain't Paris ;)
Having said all of that we very much look forward to hosting all of the lovely guests that will stay with in the future, but if you think we're going to be waiting on you hand and foot when you arrive... go book somewhere else!!
