As you indicated in your review you chose not to contact us for anything other than checkout/check-in but we explicitly state in the house manual that if anything is needed or desired to please contact us & we will make absolutely every effort possible to accommodate any request!
It is extremely unfortunate that you felt one of the rooms had dirty sheets/pillowcases because I do all laundry myself & take much pride in making sure every single guest has fresh & clean linens/bedding & also provide the cleaning crew with the exact bedding for each room/bed so everything is cohesive & simply put, looks pretty! With that said I’m upset & extremely confused as to how sheets/pillowcases could have been dirty since I go to great lengths & make bedding one of my particular priorities. We do apologize that you felt sheets were dirty though & you could have reached out to us & we would have gladly taken a new set of sheets/pillowcases up to you to replace the ones you felt were dirty & seen for ourselves what was dirty to ensure nothing like that ever happens!
As for the futon, there was a blanket up in the closet which was used & on the futon so unclear why you felt there wasn’t blankets for it. There were also extra pillows in one of the bedrooms on the bed & realize now we should not assume that guests will know all 4 pillows are not only for that particular bed. We put the blanket up in the closet & keep extra pillows on the bed so the futon can be used as a couch in the meantime before bedtime & thought we were being helpful in not leaving blankets & pillows out. We apologize for the inconvenience & confusion & will use your review in the future to make sure to inform guests where blankets & pillows for the futon are, so thank you for your feedback!
Thank you as well for your towel/towel rack suggestion & we will be looking into replacing towels & figuring out additional rack ideas when our budget will allow for the expense.
We are also taking into consideration how to provide more counter space in the bathroom so again, thank you for your feedback.
We do not have coffee makers in our units due to theft & we also do not have them as an amenity on our listings so as to not set misleading expectations. We do though include that there are Keurig coffee makers in the community rooms within the complex such as the Truman Living Room & Alley Room. We also include in the house manual that coffee makers can be made available upon request & that is why we ask all guests to read, review & acknowledge the directions, description & house manual for the listing to make them aware of such things.
We stock each & every unit with an adequate amount of both paper-towels & toilet paper that we feel will accommodate the particular reservation based on number of guests & duration of stay so apologize that there was not enough paper-towels & wish you would have just asked so we could have provided you with what you needed. It is of absolutely no inconvenience to us whatsoever & since we are onsite & also try to respond to messages immediately (as you’ll see our response rate is 100%) so could have had paper-towels, sheets, a coffee maker etc., up to you guys within minutes.
We tell everyone, just as we told you to please message us if anything is needed at all so it is upsetting when guests don’t say a word about things like this during their stay & rather than giving us the chance to remedy a situation then & there, instead choose to poorly rate & complain about it in their review when a simple message or call could have resolved all concerns. You were great guests though & are welcome back anytime & would love the opportunity to make your stay with us deserving of a 5 Star review as majority of our other guests have. Thanks!
