Collingwood is a vibrant, inner city suburb. It is fast becoming the eating area of choice for locals. Cafes serving the best coffee in the city, famous name restaurants including Italian, Japanese, Spanish cuisines. Gay friendly bars, nighclubs, great pubs all within a few blocks.

Getting around is extremely easy. The tram stop is 2 minutes walk and it is a 10 minute ride to the city. Trams run frequently. 15 minute walk to the city, parks. Within 30 minute walk, the MCG, Carlton (clothes ,Italian restaurants), Richmond (fabulous Vietnamese restaurants)

We stayed in Anne and Peter's apartment in 2015 and wrote a detailed review which tells how much we liked the place. We returned for a three week stay in Feb/March this year and nothing has changed about how much we enjoy staying in this comfortable and spacious apartment and in such an interesting, vibrant neighbourhood. Wonderful apartment, as per the photos. Great location with supermarket, chemist, coffee bars and restaurants all within walking distance, as well as public transport into the city. Kitchen is well equipped (inc. coffee machine), bathroom/laundry and apartment were wonderfully appointed (inc. clothes dryer and washing machine) and were spotless. We had a great stay and will definitely stay here again.

Anne and her representatives were strong on communication prior to moving in. As arranged we were met by Elena who showed us through the property, including the parking. Elena stayed in touch after we moved in and when we were moving out. The apartment was fully appointed. It was like being at home. We have experience of warehouse apartments elsewhere and this apartment was remarkably quiet. On some very hot Melbourne days the air con was useful. We were close to some great cafes and restaurants as well as both Coles and Woolworths. We particularly liked Proud Mary on corner of Oxford and Stanley Streets for coffee and great salads. A two hat restaurant Saint Crispin in Smith Street was a nice surprise and we squeezed in for an early sitting. The tram was close to get into the city and as long as it was fine and not too hot, it was easy to walk to Fitzroy and Carlton shops. The kitchen had just about anything you could ask for. We did not tackle the coffee machine in the apartment and would have liked to have a plunger so we went looking to buy one which we did in Smith Street. The TV did not include cable but that was no great loss as we hardly watched TV. We did enjoy supplementing our own CDs with Anne's eclectic collection. Our son lives in North Melbourne and we have stayed many times at Carlton but we would come back to Collingwood and Anne's apartment any time. There was just the two of us and the downstairs bedroom was very comfortable and there was a loft bedroom with double bed and sitting area.

Annes place was fantastic , its everything she says plus more and the area is full of life and great little bars to explore , id would stay there again without hesitation. There was an issue with the lift maintenance changing dates without notice which Anne acted on it straight away . cheers gary

Communication was excellent. After a very long flight check in was easy and as planned. The space is beautiful and comfortable, wonderful restaurants near by, transportation easily accessible. Would not hesitate and would love to stay there again!

Peter and Anne's apartment is absolutely fantastic - much larger than it looks from its pictures. It's well equipped, very well maintained and well looked after. Our stay was a bit of a longer one so it was great to find a kitchen, in particular, with more of everything (cutlery, crockery, glassware, etc) required to make you feel absolutely at home. Collingwood is a fantastic neighbourhood to explore, drink and eat out (our favourite became the Grace Darling around the corner on Peel Street or the Gem down on Wellington Street (about a 10 minute walk). The suburb total goes off and is a real mix of styles and personalities so for those new to Melbourne, you won't be disappointed. It's also a short walk to Gertrude and Brunswick Streets and not too far to walk to the CBD (good public transport from there if you'd rather not walk!). Though Peter and Anne were aware for our entire stay, we were met by a host who showed us around; if we needed to chat, Peter and Anne would usually respond the same day (if not earlier on our inquiries). Overall, great pad, great location and great hosts.

We absolutely love saying in this stunning apartment! It was even better than we had expected. The apartment had everything we needed to have a great stay and the location was perfect for us as it was close to restaurants and transport. We hope to come and stay again. Thanks
