As far as the pictures show, the place is small, bare bones, but cute and in a great location. You are right across the street from the beach. Literally 3 minutes walking distance. 20 minutes from ocean drive and there are some markets and a liquor store close to the apt, so you can find some food, though pricey, if you want to cook. As far as cooking, the utensils and appliances are minimal, doesn't allow for much, basic breakfast and maybe some pasta.
The TV has cable and wifi was pretty good. The window AC unit worked well and kept the whole place cool on the humid hot summer days.
We would have loved the place if we did not to see some of the things that made us a little disappointed, like various dirty chewing gum spread under the kitchen table and windowsill, stained towels, holes in the bed sheet, and a sofa that was in the midst of being cleaned from a former guest stain while we were there. Also, we would have liked to find at least the basic necessities to cook, like oil, salt and pepper.
We tried to use the umbrella for the beach, but it was broken.
Be aware of tiny ants going around the house, so keep food sealed or just keep it in the fridge.
Bathroom was decent and clean. The shower is big and we both could fit in it.
All in all, the price definitely is suitable for the location, but as far as the place, it needs major improvements to make the stay more worth while. I would recommend serious cleanliness and paying attention to details. The host let us stay passed our check-out due to a later flight we had, which was very accommodating.
