We greet guests upon arrival to present keys and show accommodations including how to lock and unlock the front gate. We are available to guests if needed. Housekeepers tend to every room each day.

The cost of a private chef is not included with the rental charge. 99% of our villa rental guests contract a chef for their stay. We will be glad to put you in direct contact with the house chef or any of the approved freelance chefs. Their base charges begin at $200 US per day to be contracted separately. This does not include the cost of food or beverage. It does include all of the provisioning, stocking, prep, cooking, serving and cleanup.
If you wish to self-cater, you must book our kitchen assistant at the cost of $100 USD per day. We can arrange to receive payment for this via your Airbnb booking.
We recommend booking the chef instead of the kitchen assistant. Our guests report a better holiday experience when they book the chef. Guests prefer to relax and not have to provision, prepare food, serve and cleanup. We want guests to enjoy their time together instead of working in the kitchen.
If you opt for the kitchen assistant in lieu of a chef, the assistant will prepare coffee and tea in the morning. She will set the tables and help serve the meals, do the clearing, washing up, and put everything away. She will keep the kitchen and dining areas clean and organized. She will help guests find everything they need in the kitchen. She can help with light food preparations and plating. She might even be willing to make callalou soup or roti. She will not do the provisioning. She will be glad to put the groceries away for the guests when they bring in the shopping.
Dinner should be served no later than 7pm each night in order for the staff to catch the last bus home, which is in the north of the island, where most domestic workers live.
We do not profit from either arrangement. Full fees go to the chef or kitchen assistant.

The accommodation pricing is based on occupancy of 2 persons per room. Base price is for up to four persons for one week.
In addition to the 7 en suite bedrooms at the Main House, there are 2 en suite bedrooms at the Sugar Mill Tower, which located on the estate. The Tower can accommodate one to four additional people. In total, we accommodate up to 18 persons if both the main house and tower are rented. Additional persons can be accommodated at an extra charge. We have two extra beds which can each be placed in one of the larger rooms at the Main House. Contact the host for more information.
A very nice wooden crib and high chair are available for a baby and little tykes. We also have 2 portable baby cribs.
Rates fluctuate depending upon the time of year. Easter, Spicemas, Christmas, New Year's and peak tourist months, have higher rates.
We offer discounts for long-term stays of 21 days or more. Please contact us for an exact quote..
BCPS reserves the right to cancel any booking if, in the unlikely event, the property is damaged or rendered unusable for any reason.
BCPS will issue a full refund less any bank transfer charges or AirBnB fees. BCPS shall not be liable for any further obligations or claims by the client.

By confirming your reservation, you agree to the rules. A violation of any rule may result in cancellation of your booking.
You must provide your personal email address in order to receive our Welcome Book.
You also agree to provide, in a timely manner, your flight arrival and departure information, including dates, times, airlines and flight numbers. This helps us anticipate your arrival and departure times and allows us to schedule a manager to be on site for your welcome and check-in and your check-out. The property you are booking is a private home. We do not have 24x7 reception. Reception is always scheduled. If you are arriving by boat or do not intend to come directly to the property from the airport, you must phone ahead and set an appointed time. A manager will be dispatched to meet you.
Normal check-out time is 11 am. If the next booked party schedules a late arrival, we may be able to accommodate your request for a later check-out.
Normal check-in time is between 3 and 6 pm. If you have late arriving flights, we will schedule a staff member to track your flights and be on site to greet you. We can be flexibile on check-in time depending up check-out times of departing guests on your day of arrival.
Smoking is not permitted in the house, verandas, tikis or pool areas. Do not drop cigarette butts or ashes anywhere on the property or bayside.
No more than two persons shall occupy each bedroom unless host approves in advance. Rates will be charged accordingly.

No parties or events can be held without prior written approval. For insurance and safety reason, we must review your plans before granting permission. Additional charges may be applicable.
Motorcycles, mopeds and scooters must be kept outside of the gate. They can be parked on the roadside across from the gate. We don't recommend booking scooters, mopeds and motorcycles for your stay in Grenada. The roads are in rough condition; there are seldom road shoulders. More often than not, drainage ditches line the roads.
The front gate must be kept closed and locked at all times. Please close it and lock it immediately after passing through.
You must practice safe behavior.
No loud music.
Be courteous and respectful of other guests and neighbors.

*SPECIAL RULES FOR SPICEMAS
By booking this property, you agree to adhere to certain rules, this includes: No parties, no events, no extra guests without written approval 24 hours in advance. Only registered members of your booking will be permitted entrance to the property.
You must bring your own linens because of the paints, grease, colors and glitter of SpiceMas celebrations. The cost of all food and beverage is additional. This is a non-smoking property. Please read our entire Airbnb listing for "Waterfront Garden Villa with Grand Infinity Pool."
You agree to behave in safe manners and not disturb any of the neighbors with loud music or noises. No partying on the dock. No glass containers near the pool, steps or waterfront.
We must receive a complete list of all guests no less than 2 full weeks prior to check-in. The list must include full names, ages, contact information (email, home address, telephone numbers) nationality and all flight information for arrival and departure. Only those guests whose names are on the approved (by me) list will be allowed on the property and checked-in.
All guests must have government issued identification showing they are at least 21 years of age by the date of check-in.
Marijuana, firearms, fireworks and illegal substances are not permitted on the property. No open flames or fires are permitted.

The urge to travel struck at a young age. Because our father was a US military officer, we moved from place to place; adapting to new communities, schools and people was part of our normal existence.
My hometown is in Maryland, near Washington, DC. I've lived in Alaska, California, Texas, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Florida, Indiana, Arkansas and Kentucky. I've driven cross-country several times and plan to do it again.
15 years ago, I left a career in publishing, rented out my house and went traveling and sailing. I landed in Guatemala for a year and lived in Grenada for three years. Several ocean-crossings and excursions throughout Europe, the Mediterranean and Caribbean led to new friendships, which led to Grenada, which led to hosting and property management.
My special interests include sailing, travel, arts, cooking and reading.
Currently, I am in the states, near Annapolis, Maryland.
