David and Fran left us a beautiful note which I will quote here.
"We wish we could have stayed longer, but we hope to return. One of our favorite SLOWDOWN activities was to sit on the front porch in the evenings with the fountain lulling us and birds feeding in the yard and some of the world going by...I particularly loved listening to the mocking bird sing - here, there and everywhere. We rented bikes and loved exploring the backstreets and byways. We rode to our favorite beach (Anastasia) and frolicked in the waves and enjoyed watching the surfers. We star gazed in the open field by the Fort (Castillo San Marcos), visited the shrine, mass at the Cathedral and more! Saint Augustinians are friendly and helpful! The "Coral Swan" cottage - ever so comfortable! We felt entirely at home. Seems like you thought of absolutely everything. However noisy the world might be - the inner world of the cottage was sweetly and quietly removed. We met up with the friendly women cleaning and all of us females were born in October! We laughed and hugged!
We particularly enjoyed the Highwaymen Paintings - and the book about them by Gary Monroe. Again - we loved our stay and hope to return - maybe next October! or sooner! Fran & David of Middleburg, Vermont. Thanks Tammy, Sue and Wayne...We Love the Coral Swan!"
